Hello everyone,

I thought I'd tell those of you that may not know about the LR (Virtue based SG) a bit about it. It's still somewhat "starting" as we don't have too many members that are on often, but it is a RPing SG where fun is the most important thing. For the time being we do not have meetings, though I'm working on a website so that we can schedual things like meetings and fun raids, etc... but we do some of those things now just with whoever is online. We are ok with working with other SGs and though we prefer RP we do drop it now and again for tasks that go on for so long that people get tired, etc, but it's always a group decision.

Anyone from the Guru site would likely be a very welcome member, so just let me know through here or if you wish to have the questionnairre sent to you just email me at joker@bresnan.net and make sure you have your interest in the email's Re: since I don't want to miss anything.

We don't really have a "hierarchy" that we go by, and everyone is as important as the next hero. We take both heroes and vigilantes which makes for some interesting roleplaying (Ikaru is a very fun person to get into RPing arguments with). Though Ignemae started the LR, she isn't it's ruler or leader, as leadership is differred to whomever is either the most qualified for the moment, or whoever is behind our patrols, etc... The "basic" calling for LR members is they wish to show that heroes powerful enough to be called "legends" still roam Paragon City (security level doesn't count for that, we take all levels), and wish to prove it, either for selfless or selfish reasons.

Our ranking system only shows the basic "level" that you choose to take in helping the SG itself, so some people have climbed to the highest rank very quickly, and if someone were to want to help or design the webpage I've started that would certainly get ya up there, lol.

Anyhow, we take part-time players to full-time addicts of the game, and again we stress fun above all else. I'd love to have alts or mains join and help us grow and form more alliances and hope to see you in game soon. :)

I'm back now, and we're working on getting the LR much more active. We've (thank you sooo much Haze!) now created a coalition and will be hopefully building our own Supergroup base before too long.

Another thing that I wanted to point out, you don't have to necessarily "prove" yourself as a great hero/heroine to become a high-ranking member in the LR. Just as Batman is regarded as a dominant member in the JLA because of his tactics and the work he does to ensure both the security and devotion of the JL members and it's base, those that wish to help out with either the creation of our website (I have a basic one started, could use some help) or even have some experience with building good (or just fun) bases could easily become a Council Member (or lower if you don't want to deal with the more political things between members) even at level one.

The LR is really meant to be a FUN SG, so I don't mind having teams that don't Roleplay if everyone is either tired or just working on a new persona they want to perfect before really playing them. We're flexible and just want to enjoy as much of the game as possible.

If you are interested but have a demanding or obligation to another SG that would keep you from doing as much as you think we may like, let us know how much you'd be able to play. We don't require players to be there every day, and vacation times are easy to do. We even accept temporary memberships obtained while you are "sponsored" by another member of the LR to see if the SG is for you, and if you are right for the LR (we're not that demanding, so aside from RPing the character and such, it's laid back). Feel free to get ahold of me in-game through my global handle, @Noptraptors and leave a message. I've been more and more active of late, trying to get some more things for a base and just looking for some of the newer players brought into the CoH game by the CoV expansion. Let us know if you're interested and if you have any special provisions for when you can play. We don't want to be snobbish, so we don't do the "elite" stuff, though we don't mind players that do like to strive for perfection as long as no friction with other members develops.

Each hero that is in the LR can also have a special "purpose" if they like that aids the LR story-wise. Currently Pixie Lady makes most of our equipment (but what she makes is not necessary to use, it just helps some with less RPing experience have a reason for changing appearances so quickly, etc...) and Diamond Lillith is our current expert on Mutations, though she's not the foremost authority. She has a Masters and is working on her Doctorate when not patrolling. Ignemae is the general "leader" only because she founded the SG, but she doesn't call the shots. She prefers that whomever forms the tasks, whoever was given the mission, or whoever has the most experience take the lead in a situation. So if your hero has some special things they do, it's easily incorporated into the storyline for the SG. Hope this helps get some more of you interested! See you ingame!

The Legends Requiem is now capable of 8 teleportation sites, has a medical and workshop area and all the power and control needed to run everything and is and will be growing very quickly since we've started getting addicted to having some of the nice things we've acquired wanting to have installed and such.

We could really use more members, whether you plan to be active or use the alt for occasional gaming, we're very laid back and even long "vacations" are understood but we do request that you let us know if possible. I really would like to see this SG grow, since we don't have a true "hierarchy" and everyone's votes count the same, our ranks define what you've done for the SG and for the City in general, and the only difference is those listed as "Council Members" are placed to make decisions whenever a problem arises (and so far, none have arisen that weren't easily solved).

Also, I was wondering if the Legends Requiem could be set up on the forums here as a CoHGurus SG? I have tried to build the site I have at guildportal, but it's quite a lot for me to do with the limited amount of time I have these days. Hello again everyone!

As many of you know, our baby is due the 11th of April, and because I may not be able to log into the game like I can now (and even lately has been a bit disrupted due to thunderstorm season as well as getting ready for the baby :) ) The three other members that were often helping the Legends Requiem have been mostly away from the game itself or playing alts, which is no problem, but I am hoping to find someone or preferably a couple someones that wouldn't mind "leading" (the Legends Requiem doesn't actually have a set of ranks, they only determine how much of a legend you've set for yourself and moreso how much you've done for the SG so it's more like stating you are an active recruiter or just someone that likes to take part in discussions about the base's building, activities, etc...) with me while I'm more or less indesposed. I do have one person that I'll be possibly handing over the "keys" to the ol' LR base and such, possibly two, but it always helps and doesn't hurt to have more.

Since the LR is a SG made foremost for fun and secondly for roleplaying, I really hope to get more members to help out. Anyhow, hope to keep seeing you all and I'll chat with ya soon!
