The Widowed

It's the PCity.com (or CoHGuru.com) Brawl-for-All!
When: Sunday, 8:00 PM Central
Where: The Training Server, of course. I myself will be in the Talos Island arena and will provide escort for anyone who wants to go there yet might be too low to survive encounters with the zone's denizens. You should be able to link into the event from Atlas Park or Peregrine Island, though.
What: That's what the poll is for. Will the battle be a Team Duel, a Battle Royale (aka. Last One Standing, where you get disqualified if you die X many times) or a Team Battle Royale (where you win by wiping out every last Hero on the other team)? Get your vote in by 8PM Central on Saturday and we'll figure it out.
Note that the battle will be restricted to the Weight Class of the lowest participant, so we ask that all combatants have a minimum Security Level of 20. The higher the minimum Security Level, the higher the Weight Class. So feel free to bring your main Hero. In fact, we encourage it. :)
Note that each Weight Class has a fairly broad spread. If the lowest Hero is SL32 (the minimum for Middleweight) and everyone else is gimped down to SL37 (the maximum), I may lower the Class to Welterweight instead. That way, everyone will be SL31 and there will be no excuses like "He beat me because he was five levels over me."
Who: Us, and only us. The battle will be invitation-only, so here's where you get your name on the list. The procedure is simple:
1) Vote in the poll (optional, but strongly encouraged).
2) Post the name (with exact spelling, including punctuation) and security level for which of your Heroes you will be bringing to the Brawl-for-All.
3) Be sure that your Hero is transferred to the Test Server before the event. Give yourself plenty of time, as the transfer could take several minutes. The Transfer Tool can be found here (https://secure.cityofheroes.com/cgi-bin/coh_transfer.pl).
Why: Because we get off on it. And we want bragging rights. And we have vendettas to settle and points to prove. Isn't that right, boys and girls? ;)
So if you want to show Malibu Sally that Blasters don't necessarily suck, or you want to beat Darknesse with the build that he called gimpy and shut him up for good, or you're Darknesse and you want to prove to your forum sparring partners that you're as much a bad-ass as you make yourself out to be, or you want to strike a blow for feminism by pounding Troublewolf into dust, or you want to teach everyone that the Defenders of Paragon are still a force to be reckoned with, or you have a bet going with Randomus that he will change the colors of his retina-boiling costume if you beat him in a fair fight, or you want to beat Xanatos because you think he's a sucky admin, or you want to defend Xanatos from that detractor because you think he's a great admin, or Thundermace wants to go toe-to-toe with Uncle Mischief over a little mythological roleplaying...oh, I could go on. Whatever your reason, just join the fight.
How: The match will be a Tactical Start match, meaning that all Heroes will begin with zero Endurance and will be unable to use any Inspirations throughout the match. Because Inspirations are crutches, that's why. Let's keep it honest, shall we?
I'll be coordinating the event with the rest of Urban Bushido (or at least the ones who show up) over our Supergroup channel, so feel free to speak with the nearest Urban Bushido member if you have any questions or concerns about the event. We'll be wearing our supergroup colors and uniforms (where applicable), of course.
And Electrical Blasters? No Thunderous Blast. It's buggy as hell right now. That's all we ask.
I hope to see all of you there.
