And I thought I was going out on a limb when I suggested to my wife that if we have a son we name him Peter Parker (as first and middle names).
But this takes the cake... (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20051003/ap_en_mo/nicolas_cage;_ylt=Aq8kx_slvgl0XdY_b19Nwuas0NUE;_yl u=X3oDMTA3YXYwNDRrBHNlYwM3NjI-) :chuckle:

At least name him after a cool superhero.
Although, I'm not sure I'd want to call my kid Bruce Wayne, either.

Hoo boy. Couldn't have just called him Clark K Coppola, huh? (Much better ring to that, by the way.)

Still better than some celebrity child names.

I would expect something like this from Jerry Seinfeld, but not Nick Cage, heh. Seems like he's more of a geek than I thought!

Oneis, Spidey is awsome. Second, didn't any of you know that Penn from Penn and Teller named his daughter (as of last year I believe) Moxy Crime-fighter (I couldn't make that up)

Hell, he should clearly have named his kid Luke.
Or just Kal-El, which isn't bad. But Kal-El Coppola Cage? Meh.

Honestly, I was expecting maybe Johnny Blaze Cage or something.

Speaking of odd names, I think I heard that Jason Lee just named his son Pilot Inspector Lee

Don't forget Kevin Smith's daughter, Harley Quinn Smith.
But really, how do you get your wife to agree to name your kid Kal-El?

That's Inspektor. ;)
And I think when you marry a guy, who takes you out of your low-wages waitress job, you'll be more than happy than to indulge in his fanboyism.
Which Cage (as in Luke Cage, where he took the last name from) has in abundance. Even if he sold most of it on request of his former wife Lisa Marie Presley (could it prehaps be because of his fanboyism he married her? This is the closest he could get to sleeping with Elvis).
Now that's all over, I have but one thing to say:
KNEEL BEFORE ZOD!

Thinking about it, my last name is 'Mann.'
Is it illegal to call your kid 'Bat' ?

Atleast he'd have a pretty great reply first day of kindergarden.
"Umm.. Bat... Mann? No that can't be right..."
"What are you dense? Are you retarded or something? Who the hell do you think
I am? I'm the goddamn Bat Mann!"

Actually, this isn't surprising for Cage... he did marry Lisa Marie just so he could get be in a part of the Elvis clan! :D

Yeah, but then Kal-El Cage would smack him upside the head for using a quote from such a bad Batman comic.

Sure it was absolutely horrible and so-out-of-character I almost cried when I read it, but it's funny for the same reason I enjoyed Mystery Science Theatre 3000: it's so bad, it's good.
