Every time I play CoH, it works for a bit, but then the whole system restarts (I luckily finished one mission today) Anyways, I can't really play because of it, and it's pssing me offm and I need help. We do not believe it is software based, or because of "questionable" actions by one of the like 5 users on it. Sadly, it is all I have till I get my own computer, and with CoV coming out in a month I really need it fixed and any help is welcome. It does not seem to be effected by just plain usage, like the forums or stuff, and as far as I know, CoH is the only game that has had it crash, so I have no idea what's wrong. We think it could be hardware, but we're not sure, so any ideas, opinions, and help is welcome.

Maybe you have bad sectors on your hard drive in the places where CoH is installed?
Just throwing possibilities...

Agreed Sheld0n, and I'm glad someone gave an opinion so fast. But I did just try Battlefield 2, which is agreeably a very different game in graphics, and requirements, but that made it crash before I even loaded a map. Me and my Dad, who did a full spyware and adaware sweep like 4 times in the past 2 days, think it could also be hardware based, and I think it could be due to the starin from game requirements, compared to just surfing the web requirements, so also, if you have any thoughts or opinions on the hardware side (we think it may be overheating so possibly a new fan recomendation) would be great.

Good point, you're right that it could just as likely be due to overheating.
And im glad that everythings working for now, but that doesnt mean the issue is gone. If it really is because of overheating, then maybe your PC's intestines simply need some dusting?

And you might want to buy and install an extra fan if you have the space for it.

I should Burby, but then again, I'm saving for a new one so I don't have to share the family one having the problem. And Sheld0n, I am aware that it is not totally gone, but I'm happy that it's working, and parying it does for when I get my CoV.

If this keeps happening it might be a bad Power Supply.
