Tsarmina
04-21-2005, 06:41 PM
And perhaps the flowers were a thank-you for something else?

Hmmm, I taste bitterness here. Or are you just trying to rile me up?

TroubleWolf
04-21-2005, 06:47 PM
Mostly just the riling. Mostly.

Also, I have a headache, the Cardinals lost last night, and I can't get rid of this girl at work who thinks we're dating.

Tsarmina
04-21-2005, 07:00 PM
*Bites Wolf...because we all know that's what he wanted anyway*

So, that girl at work. She thinks you guys are dating... didja smile at her by mistake or something?

Hmmm, perhaps I'll switch to PMs....

TroubleWolf
04-21-2005, 07:11 PM
This is the Spam-type Forum, it's easier than PMs and isn't moderated very strictly, so I think we're fine.

Well, some of our friends set us up, and we went out a few times. I sent her flowers at work, paid for everything we did together, and generally was just all-around R-r-r-r-rico... Suave!

Then, I got severely ill. I spent a week in bed, lost about 25 pounds, quit smoking without even meaning to... it was horrible. And every night during the week I was sick, every night she called me, and asked if I wanted to go out and do something. I kept telling her, "I'm really, really sick. That's why I wasn't at work today. I have truly been severely ill."

So, now I'm back at work, and she's sending me e-mails like, "I'm just so confused, where is our relationship going?" and crap like that. I just want to shout, "WE WENT ON LIKE 3 DATES! WE DON'T HAVE A RELATIONSHIP! LEAVE ME ALONE!" But I don't want to hurt her feelings.

Tsarmina
04-21-2005, 07:27 PM
Okies.
Hmmm, perhaps you treated her so niecely she didn't want to lose you... being a clingy type of person. Personally, I'd have made you some chicken soup or something... not asking if you were going to take me out.
Well, just tell her that you don't think you've dated her enough to really call it a relationship. And if you are still interested in her, let her know you are and that you want to get to know her more. If not, say so.

...I feel like the dear abby column. O_o

I've always tried to stay away from relationships in the workplace, for just that reason.

If we're discussing Wolf's stalker, then yeah, ignoring her works. Change the locks and your phone number too. Perhaps fake your own death.

If we're doing the whole Pcity vs. Bone Squad thing... well, bring it on, but we already have Esbat's death pretty much planned.

She doesn't have a key to my house, and avoiding her on the phone is no problem whatsoever. I'd fake a suicide, but we work in the same building, and I make more money than her, so I'm not leaving.

Y'know sometimes having sex with a girl really confuses them as to where y'all stand. Most of the time this has happened to me, I had what I thought was casual sex with a girl and she thinks after that we're in a relationship.

It doesn't sound like you are interested in seeing her more, so just tell her you don't want a relationship with her. She'll get pissed but will go away. Hopefully. As long as she's not a tire-slashing, stalking, make-the-bastard-pay kinda person. Heh. Teach you to get involved with a co-worker. *buys Wolf a drink*

Nope. There was some fooling around (I won't go into details), and the first night I was sick, we slept in the same bed, because I was too out of it to drive home. But no... uh... penetration.

Y'know sometimes having sex with a girl really confuses them as to where y'all stand. Most of the time this has happened to me, I had what I thought was casual sex with a girl and she thinks after that we're in a relationship.

I understand that, and I've never been a "casual sex" or "one-night stand" type of guy. Women usually have enough emotional issues in their lives without confusing them about where you stand. :P
