Our missions involve dealing with hostile Super Powered terrorist cells, like the 5th column or any other similar cells, stopping them before they become a threat to the United States National Security and any other country under the U.N., doing this in the shadows of the Geneva Convention Laws with Plausible Deniability from our Employers.

Here, after getting involved with some risky figures and some portal technology, he ended up stranded in another universe – smack in the middle of the city called Paragon. Trying to look at his situation as an opportunity, Gage has been attempting to hire himself out as a bodyguard and enforcer again while attempting to adjust to a very different culture and a very strange world.

WOW, and I don't mean the game. My lowering the pixils worked wonders. I played a little bit last night, teleporting around in Lag city Atlas Park with no ill affects. I even fiddled with the Costume and Map functions that will normally freeze my computer for about... I actually don't know how long, I usually reset my computer after 10 minutes of waiting. But it works now...well until it want's to drop me like a bad habit again.

I'm at my job right now, but I had to share the funniest thing with you all. I work at a campus that teaches student to work with Cisco, Networking and Instalations type stuff and they were using a line toners that sound exactly like a Glowy in a room that I was strolling by. I actually paused to listen for it's location and laught when I realized what I was doing...I'm going through much withdrawls, but I'll be on tonight or try to be.

Brief Background:
((((CLASSIFIED))))The MDS project was started towards the end of World War 2, after research conficscated from the Auschwitz-Birkenau prison camp showed that Nazi germany was deep into the development of augmented humans <see Ubermench file> mainly through the attempt at transplantation of animal organs and limbs.

The first M.D.S. prototype super soldiers were created in 1957, using the methods described in the German researchers notes, None survived. The main cause of death was tissue rejection.

The project was put on hold indefinately.

In 1962, Project Human Genome was commencing under the auspices of the US Army, alongside of development of dramatic Gene splicing technologies, and The first series of Successful MDS (Most Dangerous Soldiers) was created. Using forced growth techniques these MDS (nicknamed Docs) were grown and trained just in time to be able to participate in the Viet Nam Conflict.

These soldiers were genetically modified to be "on the edge" with an overproductive adrenal system, to make their reactions faster, and their bodies able to withstand stresses that would incapacitate a normal human. The vast majority of them were traind to operate as individual operatives, with the main emphasis on survival. Much of their training was based around the "predator/prey" relationship.

Unfortunaly due to a lack of field testing, many of these original MDS were mentally unstable psychopaths, often killing their own troops, and collecting grisly trophies. On September 7 1969, general order WC 101 was issued, calling for the extermination of all active MDS units. The majority of these terminations were carried out via napalm strikes and carpet bombing. The MDS project was again mothballed, again indefinatly.

In 1984, new research on behavior patterns in animals caused the MDS project to be brought again out of mothballs. This time, instead of forced growth soldiers, they would perform all of the manipulations prior to birth, and allow for normal physical development. Using research developed from studying wolves and other pack animals, the individual MDS series soldiers were given a definate feeling of being part of a pack, and were trained to work well with a unit. Instead of the focus being placed on the individual, the group was all.

The result is a Soldier fanatcally loyal to his team. Included with the psychological aspect, extensive physical and mental strength building excersises were also employed.

Along with the MDS research going on, an event in the samll town of Roswell New Mexico brought an unexpected benefit to the program. On July 12, 1947 Two united States Army Air force pilots reported finding a crashed "flying disk". This event was quickly covered up, and the contents were moved to a secret facility in Nevada. Included in the wreckage was several suits that appeared to be full environment body armor, and a few devices that were later determined to be weaopns systems. The members of the MDS program have worked extensively with the armor and also the integral weapons systems.

On May 12, 2005 general order PC-17534 was enacted, to send A single MDS to Paragon City for an extended field trial. After a few weeks of operation, MDS 0087 (aka Thomas Rainer) was contacted by his superiors to request entry to a sponsored unit working in the area known only as PAYROLL, as part of the field trials would be to see how the MDS worked with other personell.

Official personal information regarding Thomas Rainer is quite different, his Hero Registration stated he developed the power armor on his own, and his doctorate in robotic engineering certainly backs up that information. Many of his physical abilities are passed off as a result of his near obsessive physical training regimen.

His official records also state he is an Emancipated Orphan, no longer required by the state to live with foster families, nor to have a family of his own.

There are also a handful of alts involved... My main, Nyx, is actually Ragnarok's wife, and my alt Lord Mischief/Loki is Rag's creator/father. Neither of them is actually a member of the team, though, despite their occassional involvement.

There are also NPCs you might run across in RPs, like Jake, Belladonna (Rag has her as an alt), Kevin/Armageddon, etc.

well Saeel was in Payroll for a very short time and then disappeared for a long time but we are back now, Saeel, Shadowflight and now Redcat. Saeel is still going to be little seen, been enjoying Redcat the last couple of nights and will probably be on her again tonight she is now lvl 7 and working in the hollows and so far she hasn't burned everything down. Setting her up as someone not fully in control of her powers hence a lot of aoe attacks. She's even had her kit-kat covered in fire resistant cloth and fastened to the shoulder of her vest.

The program I use is at www.daz3d.com it is a beta program still but is free for the program itsefl and does come with some content. That site also has a freebie section for items that can be used in the program. There are also a number of other sites that carry freebies that should be able to work in DAZ|Studio. Though you have to watch what freebies you pick up some of them require other products that you have to buy. www.poserpros.com www.renderosity.com and www.runtimedna.com along with www.daz3d.com are the four sites I usually buy from and pick up freebies from.

Well one thing that goes into them is lots of money buying all the bits and pieces to put together to make the picture you have in your head and then lots of time getting everything just where you want it, if you don't have preset poses. If you do have presets then time on posing might not take as long if you have some thing close to what you want. I have 80+ pictures in the link at the bottom of my sig and almost always working on more.

Apparently the COH-compatible computer is feeling "urpy", to use the technical term. It's spewing L's. Violently. Projectile L spewing. well Bryce is not free but it is a good program. As for a free program go to www.daz3d.com and sign up for DAZ|Studio it is free, still in beta though. Now the next big thing to get is items to use in D|S www.daz3d.com has a freebies section, www.renderosity.com has a very large freebies section, problem with some freebies is that they are addons for items you have to buy. Another program to make your own 3d objects is wings3d at www.wings3d.com Daz has some tutorials for playing with Wings3d the tutorials are a little out of date been a few newer versions of wings3d come out. Those are some good places to start. Oh if you do get D|S while at Daz3d be very sure to get M3/V3/A3 Micheal version 3, Victoria verison 3 and Aiko version 3 They are all free right now and are the main figures used for alot of things.

Well, it use to have links a long time ago, but I was going for that comic book feel of having to go through each page, which I'll agree can be daunting but I've been trying to make the<next page> trigger the effect of flipping pages like the pages in a comic book, another project I aim to do as well. I'd like to put comic windows of our toons in action from the game or drawn out on each page as well so that it's enjoyable to view all the pages like a comic book so I can eliminate the feeling of it being daunting. I only ordered for a total of 5 pages, but if my budget permits it, I'll be adding more to it. I was actually thinking of trying to get a small PAYROLL Members Only forum for our dark plans on our enemies. Just another brainstorming ideas to add to the fun of the game.

I'm so blasted upset with my computer right now that I'm at the point of handing it to the BF and telling to do whatever it takes including reformatting if necessary tol make it work again. Probably needs reformatting anyway have so much junk on it that I don't know where to begin to start deleting it. Maybe you should just Defrag your computer, it worked wonders for me and I also set my monitor under options in CoH's for the game to the minimum screen setting of either 640x480 or 800x600 pixels and adjusted my window setting in the CoH options during game to my Chat, Nav windows etc etc to fit in the whole screen because it'll crowd your screen if you don't adjust the window capacity in the options menu. I'd try that before reformatting and losing a lot of stuff you might not want lost "Forever". Just an idea for you... Oh one more thing. thanx for the bio on your character and you did it exactly the way I want it, thank you so much, yer a doll. For everyone else who hasn't done this yet, please follow suit

"I've been playing with one of my new powers. I invested in the Group Teleporter Power. A contact of mine was helping me figure out the range of the Group Teleporter and how close my team mates need to be. It would seem the idea of teleporting all my crew to one spot from their previous location isn't how it works though it would be nice to see a advanced Teleport Friend for a mass group instead of individuals would be great. You actually need to be within 30' radius of my person or be left behind. I wouldn't recommend the idea of teleporting in the air without hover; lag could be an issue resulting in a serious mix of experiences with gravity, the pavement and possible mobs in the area to polish you off. I speak from experience. I’ll just say, it sucks, even more so in Dark Astoria. The Bonus I've learned with this power is the abiltiy to unroot my team mates from hold spells or slowed powers like trops or earth mud attacks from CoT and I have yet used it for mass retreats for an over powering mob but I can see the possibilities."

It would appear that my home computer was nailed by either virus known as WORM_ZOTOB.D and/or WORM_RBOT.CBQ. Removing or Corrupting my System32 file. Those of you whom I worked long and hard with story lines for our characters and long saga's with RAGNARöK as well as some fine pieces of art saved on my computer will have a good chance of being a total loss and I hope to be able to reestablish copies from you all who helped me collect these items to begin with. The Reason for this is that it looks as though I might have to do a low level format on my hard drive. But I'm currently looking into other methods that might prevent me from having to do that. I have several contacts in my home town who are currently working on a method to deal with this slight delay of mine and I’m hoping one of them comes up with something useful to fix this issue. I’ve attempted to use my Windows XP Disc but it won’t even allow me to boot from my CD-Rom nor would it recognize the disc to restore my System32 file. I guess my old workhorse finally limped it's last with a little help from a virus rather than old age. I mainly wanted to let you know my current predicament for my absence and just to tell you all to be careful.

I'm looking into building a base for PAYROLL, I'm not exactly sure if they finally got around to allowing hero groups building bases due to me not being able to get my computer stabilized again. I believe I have issues with my hard drive and need to purchase a new one before I lose all my data on my old one, and that's a lot of hard work that Nyx and myself have achieved on storylines of our toons as well as some wonderful art work I’d dread to lose. I’ve been doing bounty hunting in Sirens Calling and making a rep, when my computer wasn’t freezing after every boot up, and figured to get the ball rolling once I get my computer up and running again. I know we haven’t been getting together as a super group to maintain organization or doing raids due to the enjoyment of soloing, having a real life or the need to play others toons, which is cool; I too have another toon that all other fellow beta testers know as GAMMA-MAN on Justice server. But speaking of real life, I’ll be getting married come March 4th of 2006. Yeah, just around the corner. It’ll be at the Landmark in Mesa, Arizona at 6pm if anyone is in town. I doubt anyone will be. But I thought it’ll be cool to toss that out to all my closest online friends. The members of PAYROLL and other affiliated teams I’ve had the pleasure to be a part of. I’ll keep in touch on my status with my computer and Real life.

She was admitted Wednesday finally into a hospital. We still don't know how severe this time around. Doctors are first treating her pulmonary hypertension.
Thanksgiving for us was just another day. We didn't do anything out of the ordinary. Even Christmas looks like a bummer for us. We can't decorate cause we just don't have the energy. So the holidays are just normal days for us.

Prestige is needed to build this up though and you're going to have to re-earn your stripes getting your share in. You, Ryder, and I are the only ones I have allowed to modify base but with lack of prestige, I only managed to get the necessary rooms.

Ryder and I are just sitting with lots of salvage but can't convert anything as of yet.
Meanwhile I got an old friend last night to join us and like you has been away a long time. His character is Phat Ninja and he plays nights.

It is not easy getting new recruits into the SG. One way to gather prestige without outleveling oneself is to exemplar to a lower level. I think this might work.
I have heard something about higher levels prestige farming but don't know the details how that works.
Exemplaring to TFs is another way to earn prestige I think.
The rooms are there. We need 305,000 prestige yet just to get us the generator and mainframe. These are the first objects we're shooting for as they operate everything else.

So to help these two gentlemen out as well as myself, I would like to see more SG involvement. Now, I know RL is far more important than CoH which is perfectly justifiable and some of you are wondrous at maintaining multiple SG which is staggering to me. I’m not demanding anything from any of you. I just would be most disappointed to see such hard work that Boomer and Agni’s put into the base go to waste. Well, I’ll C’ya all about. Well, I’m sorry to inform all the members on the PAYROLL that I had to close my www.cohpayroll.com website account due to budget, it may still be operational until the paid time runs out. I currently just purchased a home and need the extra cash to keep the priority bills paid. It was either that or close my CoH account which I will NOT do. Once I get a better paying job, I’ll try to reactivate that account and hopefully get my other old computer running that has all the website data files that allowed me to create it. It’s been out of commission hence why I haven’t updated the site in a couple of years. I’m still an active player CoH and will remain that way until the internet is no more. So don’t freak out.

I'll keep that in mind Elemento for sure and will informed the others as well about the use of your site. Yeah, the new members I brought in, Palo Verde Pummeler and Aden have been active in SG mode to keep it going. These are two of my Real Life gaming buddies that I introduced to CoH. They are having a blast so expect tons of Prestige flowing your way. :cool:
