Well, now Looney Toons 2045 have competition for the dumbest marketing idea of the year.
Turning a silly yet witty cartoon into another sailor moon clone? Meh, good thing i dont recieve y-tv here.
If it was kinda like samurai pizza cats at least...

Is nothing sacred, you ask?
Well, yes, some things are sacred.
However, a stupid cartoon about super-powered babies is not one of those sacred things.

Nope mate, sorry to disappoint you, but in Japan, nothing is sacred (http://engrish.com/image/engrish/god-jesus.jpg).

Oh ho ho, such an insightful post, Chris!
But, you know, I don't remember typing, "Hey, what do you think, Chris?" or "Yo, C-Dog, what are your feelings on the matter?" or "Gosh, my life would be complete if I knew what ol' Chrissy was thinking about this whole thing."
Did you read anything similar to that? 'Cause, like I said, I don't remember typing it. Did you see it somewhere?

You know that totally opens up a can of worms in the Chauvinist Department, right? I mean, if you're going to oppress a woman, she's probably wearing a burqa anyway.
Besides, you wouldn't want to cover up your pretty face...

Well that's hardly fair. Fate is floating around in some 'Matrix' or other. He has a link to anything. He can just flip open a cell phone and be all, "Mr. Wizard I need a shop that will sell me a monkey, a playpen and a voyeur!"
TroubleWolf

I just got the mental image of Neo going, "Okay, I'm gonna need a monkey, a playpen, and a voyeur."

I'm part French so I try to blame them a little less than my compeers. Of course I'm also part British, German and Jewish, so my parts are constantly at war with each other, making for a rather disturbed whole.

The page linked to doesn't ever seem to want to load, but I did a Google search and found what I believe is the original Japanese page. (The link labeled "English" goes to the posted site, so I believe this is the same thing) The link is http://ppgcom.gooside.com/ppgz/index.html
I was wondering even before I saw it if it was a hoax (it was posted to Anime News Network on April 2...) but apparently not. I kind of like the designs, but the weapons... well... it's very Japanese.
Oh, and Widowed, while I agree about Buttercup's hair, check out the picture all the way to the bottom and on the left of this (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v181/litakino16506/Archive/1112466393969.jpg) image. That's Buttercup all right...

Oh, but arent you the symbol of potential peace between the clashing nations? :P
As for Buttercup's hair, my guess is, it was to typical for japan, so they wanted to make it more original.
But for some reason, im afraid that while watching the series, her hair will be the least of our worries.
For those brave people who dare to even glimpse at it, that is.
