Is money an object?

If it isn't: http://www.adobe.com for Photoshop
If it is: http://www.gimp.org for GIMP

Photoshop's overrated. Try Paint Shop Pro. (http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=Corel3/Products/Display&pfid=1047024307383)

Thanks alot everyone. I'm going to give Gimp a test run. I don't want to spend money if I don't have to. (Poor college kid here) Thanks a ton again.

Druid, there is a trial of Photshop, for like 30 days, and while we of course in no endorse this type of action, there are always "other" means of obtaining such software.

Wow! This is a tough program. It's going to take some real time to learn to use it. Thank's for your help though. Oh and Iggy, I might check out that thirty day trial thingie, but I kinda frown on that whole software piracy thing to. Thanks for the suggestions though.

...paint shop pro sucks.
How so? It has all the tools, filters and special effects to get the job done, and it hasn't failed me yet. O_o
