You're too young X. This song was probably before your time.

Sort of like hearing a Dr. Dre song advertising Baskin Robbins or something. These guys hung out with A Tribe Called Quest and had real credibility as rap artists. It was the sort of music that scared white people in the early 90's (even if the lyrics were relatively positive).

Yeah, there's been a rash of this stuff lately. Like when they butchered "I Fought the Law" for those RIAA commercials, or when Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell" was used to sell a car.

It makes me sad.
