Well, if that 2nd level College English is anything like the one I took, then that actually makes sense.

Not surprising. Your english is much better than 90% of Americans.
I was a similar kid. In grade 2 I had a university reading level and by grade 6 I had a university writing level.
Just don't let it get to your head like it got to mine. ;)

And I always thought there were only 10 types of people. Those who understand binary, and those who do not.
I'm pretty sure you gave 110% throughout the whole tst, right?
It is surprisingly how good young ones are at english in germany cause they grow up in a time where nearly everything is expressed in english words. They use these words as if they were their native language but sadly therefore they forget about the german language (it is horrible to see and hear how 13 -17 year-olds can't create a sentence without "yo, dude" or "I swear". Damn hip-hop culture.

You want to know what's embarrassing? I forget words in danish and can only remember them in english.

Happens to me a lot, Sol. But that oftentimes has to do with the fact that one language has a term or word that the others don't, but is more fitting to what you actually want to express.

Tell me about it. After High School, my intelligence level dropped quite a bit. But then again, this is Alabama.

Grats Tark.
Actually the best part about moving to a state like Alabama, or those other ones, is that once there you become a child prodigy. They bumped me up at least six grades worth of math. I hate math! Of course it all came back to bite me in Virginia where my advanced math courses became just barely relevant to the current cirriculum. Actually if I remember correctly I was slightly behind after Alabama.

I had a similar situation when i moved to Montreal.
After less than 3 years of learning the language, my written French was one of the best in the school (got an award), beating people who were born here.
Its kinda depressing, actually...
Now that i think about it, Tark, it would probably be best if you moved someplace else and study there, as soon as you can...
