View Full Version : Justice!
I have to say this looks like its going to be a good story. JLA vs Legion of Doom what more can you ask for?
I just got my copy yesterday. Had a choice between the villain cover or the heroes. I chose heroes, naturally. :)
I haven't cracked it open yet to read. Haven't had time to. But its Ross so I'll just savor the detail work every time I look at my desk. :)

Picked it up, interesting. :)
Just a bit confused, what, I mean, is this.. DC continuity? Present, a little in the past? Or what. I have no idea :D

It's slightly out of continuity, I beleive... like the DC All-Star line. It's essentially an attempt to tell a more mature version of the old Superfriend story... so it's based fairly solidly in, say... mid-80's or so DC continuity.
Actually the Superfriends would have been 1973. (ack! I'm showing my age!)

Well, yeah, but it carried on for quite a bit, although I think they managed to actually call it the Justice League at some point. I'm probably just using that time period cause it's when I saw it as a kid. But yeah.... it's essentially set in a world where everything is largely recognizable to anyone who watched the old Superfriends cartoons.... although with Hal back as GL, it's hard to pick out a good example as to how it differs from normal continuity.

It's Alex Ross doing whatever he wants. Hal is GL, Barry is Flash, Adam West is Batman.
It looks pretty, but I'm not sure if I can follow this book for 2 years. I may just be pleasently surprise by the trade one day.
