Bone Squad: Deadline OOC

This is the OOC for the next Bone Squad RP, "Bone Squad: Deadline" which is upcoming as soon as I can be bothered to write out the first post and intro the entire thing, haha.

So, everyone involved should pretty much know the basic story, if you don't then hit me with a PM and I'll send you the chat log where I pitched it to everyone.

You'll also all need to designate colors to yourselves. Works on a first come first serve basis, really, however me and Icelander are keeping our colors from Older.

Please discuss everything that isn't a part of the RP here, and anyone who wants to leave comments please feel free to do so here.... We'll put up spoiler warnings in posts that have them so you can avoid them if you wish.

That's how I figured it would go. Certain people have bigger roles then others, so their posts will be more important. Those people's posts would then guide how everyone else would post until another scene took place.

New post up. A few notes though.

Yes, I know that technically I just threw the order off. But, well...I just starting typing and I couldn't stop, sue me. ;) Since this might or might not be the order we stick with, I felt I could risk it.

Second, Dee and Frost. I put some of Ice's observations about your characters in there. We all know Ice is a emotionally repressed jerk, hell it adds a little charm at times, so anyone that shows emotion is just kind of on his hitlist. I kind of see him being the hard taskmaster of sorts to both of them, using the situation that they are still fairly new in the Squad to jump on their back every chance he gets. You know, that sort of thing. But I'm open to suggestions, and of course if I ever get either of your characters wrong, point it out to me. That goes for anyone, actually.

Third, as some JLU fans might notice, I stole/borrowed/used a scene from the episode "Hereafter". But I thought it turned out cool. :)

As far as posting order, the way I understood it is that we could post however we wanted for the fight scene portion of the RP. After that, we wait to be told by Charon who posts when as he is the one that ultimately will be guiding this story. After everyone has posted one time, that becomes the new posting order.

A couple things that I forgot to mention, that everyone should know...

The squad is now split into 3 different teams:

Team 1: Redgate, Stan Walker and Icelander are dealing with The General.
Team 2: Got, Charon and Alpha Sentry are keeping the numerous gaurds from following and helping The General.
Team 3: Azure, Thora, Sonic and AfterGlow will be in charge of the shutting down the Time Machine and dealing with the elite KGB guards that were placed there specifically to stop them. ;)
And of course, good ole Joe is in everyones ear. (I guess technically, that makes 4 teams, but who's counting?)

Whoever posts first out of Team 3, I need you to add a blurp about Afterglow arriving and joining in the fray to help shutdown the machine, so he can jump in later without it being weird. (That is incase Afterglow himself is the first one to post out of that team.) Also, we can't break the machine, it has to be useable after we shut it down, so just keep that in mind.

As far as the General goes, he is supposed to be one bad motha, so even though he's slow as hell, it should take quite a bit of effort to put him down. But I think we should refrain from killing him, he might be useful later on and I don't know what Charon might or might not have planned for him, so for now he lives.

Anyway, just thought I would put all this out there to keep us all on the same page. :)

Nice, I know Noble is working on his post but since Red and Thora are on different tasks at the moment it doesn't matter which of you goes first. Dee, you can do yours and Frosty, Bolero and Afterglow can follow up and take your lead with their posts. You can take your time writing Dee, no rush.

Stan, you can post anytime after Noble, as he has to set the next scene with the General.

Thresh and Got, you guys can keep your violence and twisted beatings going by posting whenever you wish. All I ask is that in both your posts you make mention of Charon beating the snot out of somebody, somewhere.:) At some point you guys can join in and help with securing the Time Machine.

Alright...admittedly it was tough having to follow up to Noble's post (which was awesome!), but I think I've got a little something up to kind of close things for the machine crew. Still need to get the machine worked over, but that's not quite Azure's thing.

Sorry about falling behind on the posting. It's just I'm doing a whole lot of new video stuff at college I have to get my head round, and programming wasn't in the course description I tell you what. I'm not that way inclined at all.

Well, having read through - The General's already down. I don't suppose the actual machine itself does need disabling. My next post will hopefully be up by sunday. However, that's far from a promise.

Charon has a good point. Perhaps just to "turn it off" would be a good solution for now. I.E. pull the plug on its power source, or something like that.

Maybe have Afterglow, who really has extensive knowledge about Time machines even though he doesn't tell anyone, say "The hell with it" then make it look like he is going to just shoot the machine wrecklessly, but is really shooting precisely to cut off its power.
