Just making this thread to keep the "Favorite" thread free of clutter. I'm still collecting my thoughts so I'll post later. Feel free to start without me. :)

One time... I went with my Cousins to an amusement park when I was little, and there was this 3d james bond thingy, and and and it had chairs with joystick things and 3d glasses and they moved around and it was coool....

Otherwise, Turkey is ignorant to the Bond series.

You're one to talk about Blasphemy. Roger Moore was a far cry better than Timothy Dalton. If he had quit after "For Your Eyes Only" he would be remembered much more fondly. As it turned out, he stayed two pictures too long and that taints the opinion of him.

You could tell just by looking at Dalton's face that he was not even into the role. And don't be so quick to canonize Sean Connery either. "Diamonds are Forever" was a stinker and a half and Connery showed about as much enthusiasm as Dalton did in his three roles. I'm not to keen on "Thunderball" either; but that is more the result of crappy directing and editing than a fault of the star. I pretty much agree except I actually thought "Diamonds" was Connery's best one. "Thunderball" was d.o.a. though.

Personally my position on the whole Connery vs. Moore thing has been: Roger Moore played a better James Bond, but Sean Connery was in better movies.

Dalton was just... ugh. Brosnan was good though, even though 2 of his 4 movies were pretty bad.

Sean Connery is Bond, basta. Not talking about the movies, but the character. Movie-wise, most Bond movies are mediocre. All the other actors were bad. Brosnan is an okay actor, but his movies are not even Bond movies. no machism, strong women, yadda yadda.
