I was wondering if it would be at all possible to ENTIRELY remove the animations for -

Invulnerability - Temp. Invul, Invincibility, Unyeilding and Unstoppable. It would also be nice if the constant 'singing' of these powers (their sound effects) could also be removed.

Super Strength - All yellow glowiness on the attacks, and with Rage.

Energy Melee - Remove the glowy red hands so it simply looks like a boxing set.

This is because I, and some other characters in my SG and other characters that I know of, play what are supposed to be Natural tankers. Without the animations, these sets would look entirely natural, however with them, they look stupid.

While the invul mod which is already avalible is very, very good, it doesn't fully remove the animations, and they still HIGHLY annoy me, heh.

So could someone please help the Bone Squad out and remove these animations? Thanks to anyone who takes the challenge...

Well put Charon...I for one am in total agreement on this..i cant stand the graphics it ruins the chars RP in my opinion. PLesae if anyone can help it would be MOST appreciated.

*looks at his invul and energy melee graphics and sighs*

I you tried to fully remove those effects, a ton of other set's effects would disappear as well. I tried out the mod for toning down Integration and Instant Healing, and suddenly my Fire tanker just looked like a guy with a circle around him.

I'm in pretty much the same boat. I run an invulnerable scrapper, and, while I tend to run a lot with the particle count low anyway so my computer can render faster (I'm BARELY chugging along in this game with 256 RAM, need a new computer for Christmas!), I still find the animations annoying because they're not in concept for my character. I've already modded the sounds away, exdept for the initial "burst" noise that tells me when I turn them on. What I'd like is to keep that initial "burst" of light for the activation, and then have the animations at 0%. My character is as tough as she is because she's a kick ass cyborg, not because she has prettily colored energy fields around her!

Heres the deal, yo. I can turn off Invulnerability's effects for the most part. I can't take away the purple beams coming from Invincibility, and most likely, Unstoppable, however.

You can't "add" the glow to all of Superstrength's attacks, because that goes beyond the PIGG files.

I tried removing EM's glow before and couldn't get it to work.

I was playing around with demos the other day, and I believe that Invincibility is actually two graphics, overlaid on top of each other. The purple beams are probably one of those two graphics, which would explain why you couldn't get rid of them. You may have to change another power set (similar to how Regeneration effects the Fire Tankers' effects) in order to get rid of the purple.

bump has anyone happened to figure out how to at least tone down the invul effects and energy melee as far as possible? :)

Been busy gaming and didn't notice this post. Will add it to my que which as grown painfully large. Only in part to my horrid lethargy.

The purple streaks are very doable, and I'll see if I can't terminate everything.
