So, I'm planning on picking up a ZBoard as well as the Battlefield 2, Doom 3 and Madden NFL keysets. I've seen a couple articles in gaming magizines and heard a few random people say that they are indeed very nice, I was wondering if anyone here has one, and could give me a review on it?

The idea sounds sweet. It would be nice not to have to remember obscure key commands to do all the actions in a game. Instead, all the keys are labeled and tailored for a specific game. I plan to get it this weekend, barring any negatives I might find out about it.

For those that might not know what a ZBoard is, go here (http://www.zboard.com/us/index.html).

I don't have one myself (I'm not nearly that "hardcore" ;)) but I have heard some complaints about their durability before...basically they break easy & such.

I heard it doesnt make enough of a difference to be worth it.
Plus you have to buy new keysets for each game, which is annoying in the long run.

Well, I just built a new gaming rig that I will be taking from my work to my house. I only plan to use it for games and other misc. deeds.

I had already decided on getting 3 of the keysets for the games I already own, it was a tad discouraging but I had already planned on it. But durability is a major issue. Stuff just tends to break in my presence, (no mirror jokes, I beg you) so I don't really want something that has a known history of breaking. That would be tempting fate just a little to much.

I'll try and google a bit and see if I can pull up some in depth reviews.

I don't think any of the games you mentioned really needs a special keyboard. If you really need to, reconfigure the keys ingame once, maybe print out the key layout. But those specialized thingies, I don't know...
