As the title says, I'm thinking of rerolling The Executive Edge.
Basically, I hate the powerset I'm currently using and don't really want to spend any more time dealing with the frustrations of katana/dark, as it's taking away from my enjoyment of the team nights.
Unfortunately this means I'll be a lowbie and need to play catch-up for a while and will probably need to be SKd until then.
What I would like to know is how this will effect the rest of you, if at all. If for any reason you'd like me to keep the Edge exactly as he is, please let me know now.

I did a beta with katana/dark, and I never could get into it. So what do you think you will do for a new power set? Are you even going to stay a scrapper?

Won't effect me. I would rather you enjoy your character. But like Burn, I'm curious...watcha gonna be?

Not entirely sure yet. I want to keep with something that will still make sense with the name "Executive Edge", which means Katana, Broadsword or Axe.

Won't effect me any.
I have a Katana/Invuln who is a Samurai and I really like him. I have only played him to 12 so far though.
I played around with Broad Sword before. It hits big, but is slow recharge time at first. After hasten, that shouldn't be a problem. But I haven't played one in high levels, but I hear they do well.

Go for it. I'd suggest Katana/Invuln, as sometime we're short in the tank department...and having a dual-purpose guy that that makes it just that much more less unneeded.
I'm just so dissolusioned with SR, that'd be the only thing I'd advise you not to take, even though it might be an ...But it's not like you don't know that, already. :p
Katana/Invuln should let you solo like a madman and catch back up in no time, if you go that route.

If I may interject.
As an executive you probably would 'fire' a lot of people, a lot of people would get the 'axe'.
It may be cliche', but I also think it would help you with the 'fun' aspect you're looking for. Folks are always on the lookout for Fire Tanks, you've had experience with the Immortal Torch, and possibly it could help you consolidate alts.
So Fire/Axe tanker is my suggestion.
Now if you'll excuse me I'll port back out the way I came in. ;)

Hehe. That would be pretty funny. Gold Brand is already a fire tank, though.

I rerolled him as Katana/Invuln.
Updated the Crey Profile (http://www.creyindustries.com/viewhero.php?id=15621). I also changed his costume to reflect his position as a kind of Anti-Randomus in many ways.

And no worries on being a lowbie and needing to play catchup. Viv has been lagging behind, mainly due to the fact that her enhancements are all crappy and I need to just stop procrastinating on getting them fixed up. So... she's still only level 11. ::sheepish grin::

Not to worry.
With some help, I got him to 6 last night, hopefully I'll be at least 7 by playtime tonight.
