I'm leaving to go to Phoenix, AZ tomorrow for a friend's wedding. I'll be gone till monday. It should be awesome...but I'm nervous about my flight and flight arrangements. It'll only be my second time flying ever... O_o

I hate flying too, but have survived now 7 cross continental flights, so it gets easier each time I swear.

Just remember once you are up you are good. Most accidents happen at take off, so once you get up all should be well my friend :)

Being 6'4", I really hate flying - there's just not a lot of room for my legs. And I'm crossing the Pond in may to go to Denmark. I am so not looking forward to that.

Of course he was wearing headphone at the time, but I atleast managed to be told by some of the other passangers to calm down.

Yeah good luck with the trip, man. I pretty much cured my flight scare, when I went to (oddly enough) Phoenix, Arizona too. Of course my flight was 12 hours long, but still... :D

Next time you should do the bottle trick. You know, take an empty sealable plastic bottle with you on the plane. Close it at the cruising altitude. Then watch has it gets crushed when the plane lands, due to the change in cabin pressure. Its especially a great one to do to your friends if they are scared of flying. :chuckle:

When I was 23 I took a flight overseas to visit some family. On one of my layovers the .. I assume he was the co-pilot... approached me and asked 'Hey little lady... you have someone meeting you at the other end?'... I would love to say he was hitting on me ..but no ...ITS CAUSE HE THOUGHT I WAS LIKE 12!... god I hate being short... and semi asian ... I'm almost 29 and I still get carded ...constantly. T.T

My sister vacationed in Arizona a few years ago and she is seriously considering moving there. She tells me she didn't have to take her allergy medication while there. Good for her. AND it'll give me a place to visit on vacation! :rock: (though I will certainly miss her living just 10 minutes from my house)
