Ok, this is pretty simple.. you cast actors as one of your characters, wait a few posts.. two at the least, then you can post another character if you wish. You can only use your own heroes. Images are welcome, but please link them.. as I'm not sure posting images works at the moment anyway.

This has a higher purpose, though I won't say yet because I don't know if I'll get to it. I'll start..

My problem is, most of my girls are ethnic (mainly Hispanic of South American origin) so casting an Anglo to play them wouldn't be true to their characters (since their respective heritages contribute a lot to their personalities). Have to find a Scottish actress to play Lady Expose and Ameristar grew up in Iowa, so those are the only real exceptions.

The problem I'm running into is twofold. All of my girls are ethnic and they're all "real", physically. So putting some woman who disappears when she turns sideways into the role is self-defeating. Given the technology available, I think it would be easier to slim down a plus-size model for the screen than it would be to give hips, boobs, and "junk in the trunk" to a skinny actress. While possible, there's a certain way a woman moves when she's used to being a certain size that can't easily be duplicated, no matter how good the actress is. But then, I'm a stickler for accuracy in these things. Like, I was almost offended at the casting of Jennifer Garner as Elektra and was glad that both movies that character appeared in bombed at the box office. (There are more than enough Asian actresses in the world who could have done that part justice and would've really benefitted from the role. To stick an Anglo actress in the role was a copout IMO.) Finding actresses from generally similar backgrounds (i.e. Charlotte Coyle is Irish, like Lady Exposé) also helps a lot IMO.

I thought Elektra Natchios was Greek?

She's Greek and Asian I believe, which is what gives her that Asian-look in the comics. At least I think that's what it is. I didn't agree with Garner being Elektra either. Imagine if it was Lucy Lui. People don't realize that race does have a big impact when it comes to doing comic book movies.

I thought I had posted this already, but obviously not.
My choice for Poison has long been Joaquin Cortes, the Spanish flamenco dancer. Poison was always athletic, but not overly muscular and is supposed to fight very adroitly and elegantly, like a dancer (imagine Vega from Streetfighter, doing flips and jumps). So Cortes could totally pull it off. Hence the reason that Poison's first name is Joaquin, btw.

For Doctor Blight (aka Champions Arrow & Duskbreaker) it's been an almost unamious vote amongst friends that Sean Patrick Thomas play him.
