Now I've had time to collect myself. I think the story for ME3 is going to be Shepard flying around the galaxy saving different planets/homeworlds from reaper attacks. What's cool is that you'll probably have the option of not saving them.

I also imagine that you'd be able to call upon past allies (Rachni, Shadow Broker, Cerberus, etc.) to help you out.

I definately think that could be a big part at least. And I also think the Rachni are coming back(if you saved them) since they kinda came back in the last one.

I'm so psyched for this game as I've loved the series so far, and Bioware really is my favorite studio. I'm replaying the original KOTOR as in my youth I never beat it and its still amazing

So far, so good. But just be aware....they are allied with the gaming Satan called "EA".

EA tends to ruin studios, even if slowly.

Very true. While I think it will stay a Trilogy, well, Bioware designed this whole universe that is their very own IP. So they will hopefully do more stories in that setting; with or without members of the Mass Effect cast.

At least that was the plan before EA; no George Lucas to bend over to.
