Well, let's try this again.

Well, I have been getting into the game more often at least, but Real Life sorta pulls me away and leaves me tired, plus all those console video games I have to play. Still need to level up and do missions and find some way to meet some of you guys in-game when you are not chatting about PvP arena fighting on the CoH channel.

First off, my Father had an operation. Nothing serious, but I had to watch over him by driving to his house. Had to watch over my Mom, too.

Secondly, there is work. I had to watch over that as well. It's a family business, but I like to call it HELL! (As in, "I work in Hell"). It's a convoluted story, but for my part, I will give out some advice. Sometimes working with family is not bad, but the way I was raised and how certain dreams got crushed, it is for me. Ah well... At least it has become busy (another draw to Real Life) and I am in charge. Or was, since my Father has recovered, like I expected him to.

There's a fair amount of script writing I am attempting from a few of my ideas. I have written a few skits, but I need to write more. I like to get in the details and this seems to be the longest part: Getting the details written down. I also have to track down a cheap (ie : FREE) crew to work with. Heck, at least it's something creative.

Of course, there is my PS2, XBox, and others. Still have to finish Jade Empire. Should get KOTR 2. Then there's Digital Devil Saga and the other RPGs, like Samurai Western. I really should limit my RPGs, but I am like a Russian Woman I heard about who would continually horde steaks because they were rare in Russia. RPGs used to be rare and now there are so many to play! Sheesh!

Also, there is a fair amount of movie viewing I am doing, in theater and at home. Just watched Howl's Flying Castle. Nice animated fare from Miyazaki, but not quite his story. I am also catching up on my Zatoichi collection and all the other DVDs I have bought. Curse DVDs and their brainwashing of America! (I prefer the film quality of Laser; no digitization).

And now, I seem to have developed a bit of an addiction to DOC : WE. That is, Derby of Champions : World Edition. This game is primarily found at big arcade amusement places like "Dave and Buster's" or "Jillian's". It is basically a horse racing game that you create a horse, race him to raise stats, and finally breed him/her off to create more horses. The more generations, the better. You can even cross-breed (no moral dilemmas about mating a Mother to her offspring here!). What is neat about this game is that it gives you a scannable card for each horse you have that you can re-use at any similiar machine. In a way, it's sorta like Pokemon. The machine normally sits 8 people, each have a monitor and it's connected to a main screen to watch the racing action. There are smaller 4 seat machines, but I've never seen them. The game seems to be a money maker for the places that have them. It's roughly 2 bucks a play, that includes one training session and one race. It can add up, money-wise, so I am trying to keep myself level on this (but I had to collect the different cards at different machines!). It's a pretty fun multi-player social game (and, in places like Jillian's or D&B, you can get drunk while playing too! NOTE : That is only meant for peaople of legal drinking age. Drink responsibly!).

At least I am getting on, but I need to do it more and hopefully not keep awake til 4-5am playing CoH! Also need to get into the game earlier so I can get a team for Task Forces I am missing. I get too tired after work. Damn body!
