So my mom won one of these at work, and as she has no interest in it whatsoever, she gave it to me. Now I have a PSP but no clue what to get for it.

Recommend me some games, please.

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite - Have a small penis? Need to compensate by carrying obnoxiously large weapons of mass-destruction?! THIS IS THE GAME FOR YOU! Hunt all sorts of giant monsters online or solo. Guaranteed to keep you busy for probably the rest of your life.

Tekken (5) Dark Resurrection - Get picked on a lot? Wish you could kick an amazing amount of ass by just using your fingertips? THIS IS THE GAME FOR YOU! With over 30 partially-customizable characters at your disposal, this handheld edition of the Tekken franchise is sure perfect for honing your mad leet fighting skills while in the bathroom or on a lousy date with Pam from accounting.

Fer shizzle, yo.

Dissidia gets an honorable mention.

The God of War game and FF7 Crisis Core were both good plays. Patapon was fun enough.

I like the PSP, the problem is that for a portable system, you have overly long load times IMO. Also IMO, such games need to be simple, although I find myself buying many JRPGs with this and always telling myself, "I'll hook up the PSP to my TV and play on there," but never doing it.

So fast games (that are easy to play on-the-go) and JRPGs are my preference for the system. which is strange.

Lots of Monster Hunter Unite freedom fans out there. Patapon is also a fast game that is nice to play. I likes the Castlevania:The Dracula X Chronicles version. The various retro-game collections can be nice (if you are into that sorta thing), even the re-done gmaes of the Final Fantasy series (new graphics). I liked Jeanne D'Arc, Loco Roco, "Me and My Katamari", and even the quirky "WTF". Haven't touched Valkyrie Profile yet, but I liked the series on PS2.

Also, "Little Big Planet" and "Half-Minute Heroes" look interesting. I plan on picking those up.

I turned mine into a game emulator. I played all the old NES/SNES/N64/PS1 games on it. Until I took it on a trip, and on the return home found that I broke it. I had an add on that let me add any kind of memory to it, and that is the part that broke. I was kind of upset, and never went back to see if it was the PSP or the reader that broke.

Monster Hunter is the only game I want another PSP. Mine broke on my second game, randomly.. and it was passed the warranty. Eventually there will be another, but no time soon.

Hmmm... Let's See.... Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, Phantasy Star Portable, Fate/Unlimited Codes, and Disgaea 1&2 have kept me pretty busy since I picked mine up.
