Been on hiatus a bit from "THE GAME" still paying and logging in but mostly for background noise while I doodle , I've been having fun doing headshots of
characters I see in pocket D and did one of Suburban Hells "Major obvious" and started to add a few other folks from guru that I knew but can't seem to find good screenies of folks main characters (IE im lazy ) anyways post a few screenies and i'll add a few of them in (no promises that id get to all of them as my intrest waxes and wanes on projects )

Someone do me a favor and bump Galactoman for me though as I owed him a stick figure from before so figure i'll definitely do him a headshot of someone he wants/plays

I jot summaries down (omg some people write like page long bios and then tell me to refer to virtueverse , geesh !) if I see someone that catches my intrest .

, I usually hang out on the dance floor where that umm other radio show hosts from as its a good nexus point to see both heroes and villains and its like a trap . they see people dancing so they stop and dance and then i'll get a quick sketch and jot down a bio before they take off to actually play the game .

i've been a bit burnt out lately from the game so have been trying to get some art practice in :)

no begging needed as I still need to do one for hydro and beebs and like doing sets of four , I won't be doing any new ones till after the holiday weekend though .

you folks can still post screenies for characters and what not this way when im bored theres already characters here to shift through (follow nerfed's example :P ).

Tips

1 ) do me a favor and post well lit screenies that someone in a dark room wearing glasses can easily make out

2) post multiple characters , your main may not intrest me atm but that guy you rarely play with the cool scared face might .since im just practicing headshots a good eye catching mask , face or look is important .

3)give me a blurb to go with the character , figure you have a 5 minute window to sell your idea , sometimes a blurb sells me on an idea or gives me a direction or idea .

Usually he leaves the Ace of Spades behind to mark his work, but for those special occasions he brings out the King of Hearts, the "Suicide King". Investigators theorize he puts there victims through a special form of torture that eventually leads to suicide.

Pulse Fire was once simply obssessed with making Heroes obsolete, by giving everyone powers. But due to some electrical interference his flame gauntlets backfired and fried themselves onto his hands,.. oh and he fell off a roof. The whole series on events left him alittle wonky, and after years of villainy his old self is reemerging.. how'd he get so far off course? And how do you fix it after getting in this deep?








Okay, thats all the random extras I have to offer you for now. I'll try to dig through my other alts to see if I have anything weird you might find cool. I know Wheathered ain't got much going for blurb.. but.. he's not been played alot or fleshed much, I just like him.

ok, the best i can do for a blurb for Kothor the Mangler is from "Tick Tock Went the Clock"

With a rumble of approaching thunder, Kothor sped down the streets. The windows on the skyscrapers in Steel Canyon vibrating to the sound of his Viking Jumpbike's Illegal exaust modifications. A flood of police drones were swarming after him, beams spinning left and right as he swerved to avoid them. Every now and then, a thunder strike discharged taking out streetlights and causing general mayhem. Eventually one of those panty waists who ran the show round here would show up, and the real Fun would begin.

"Stop in the name of the Law" came blaring over a loudspeaker. Three intersections ahead, was a roadblock manned by the Paragon Pigs. In response he gunned the motor.

"Stop or we'll Shoot!..."

He could taste the buildup as 20 energy rifles powered up..

"Ready... Aim.... FI.."

Kothor felt a buildup of unimaginable power, and then nothing. As he came roaring up to the barricade, the cops just stood there. As the barricade fence got closer, he kicked the jump thrusters in, clearing it by about 15 feet. The The cops musta been too scared to even shoot.

He waited to hear the sounds of pursuit, or at least a crash as the pigbots that were chasing him hit the barricades, but an eerie silence happened instead, that was when he noticed, the stupid peds weren't running anymore... didn't they know they were supposed to run from the Mangler?

With a screeching of tires Kothor pulled to a sudden stop. that was when he notice the trash bag holding in mid air, and the peds frozen, some of them in mid step. he got off his bike and walked over to one of the peds.

"BOOGA BOOGA!!!!!!" he shouted in the ancient walkers ear. The old bag didn't even flinch.

He raced back to his Bike, a big grin on his face.. as he sped off again he thought
"Paragon City+No Cops=Time for some fun!"

The current Charon Brute Squad, heh.

From left to right, top row first:

1) Mr. Mud - Stone/Stone - David James Dirt became Mr. Mud on the night he was caught robbing a liquor store by a Kings Row vigilante. Chased into a quarry site, he slipped and fell into the bottom of the pit; radioactive material lying in the debris rearranged his genetic structure, allowing him to turn his body to soil, earth and dirt.

2) Shroud - Dark/Shield - All the authorities know of the being known as Shroud is that he has access to Dreamspace, and some strange connection with the Dream Doctor, a hero that disappeared from Paragon City some time ago. His powers of darkness and fear seem to be channeled directly from the lands of nightmare, somehow brought forth into the waking world.

3) Volcanaut - Fire/Fire - Adam Jones was a standard mafia thug, until the day he was asked to dispose of the body of a young hero named Volcano, who had gotten too close to the Family's dealings. While digging a grave for the hero on the shores of Independence Port, the strange arm bands the hero wore detached themselves. Curious, he Adam put them on, and the Bands of Fire bound to him forever, granting him the power to turn himself into a raging inferno.

4) Braincell - Energy/Willpower - Once a telepath of nearly unrivaled power, Doctor Greg Hines misspent his youth as the nefarious supervillain Braincell, until the day the radiation wielding vigilante Mr. D got hold of him. Pumping radiation into Braincell's mind, the villain lost all of his powers, along with his intelligence and his sanity. Years later, on the road to recovery, Braincell has had his powers somewhat restored by Freakshow tech experts, who dug into his brain to try and salvage his powers. He now has the power to affect himself with his power returned, and the power to cause great psychological pain to others - but only through touch.

5) Scam - Blades/SR - Scam is the illegitimate son of Incognito (http://www.virtueverse.com/index.php/Mr._Mud/Incognito), one of Kings Row's most famous supervillains. A master of disguise and deception, Scam is a costumed con-man, pulling elaborate schemes on vulnerable marks. For when he does encounter superheroes, he has taken after his father in learning to use the first priceless weapons his father ever stole, a pair of antique daggers.

6) Uppercut - Super Strength/Energy - Once an up and coming boxer, Michael O'Brien got out of the boxing game, and Boston, when he refused to throw a fight under pressure from the mob. He changed his name and fled to Paragon City, where he joined the Freakshow's illegal brawls. In a barbaric act of revenge for dropping one of his best fighters, Dreck had Michael's arms sawn off, only for Bile to have them replaced with the finest cybernetics he could find. Now free of the Freakshow, Michael calls himself 'Uppercut' and is a freelance legbreaker, out for no one but himself.

The definition of a "mad" scientist: Thinking it's a good idea to create a giant, sentient humanoid out of a single stalk of frozen broccoli. The Broccolinator doesn't know much about his past. Bank robber, mercenary for hire, and general all round bad guy, the Living Hologram is both an unsophisticated brute and one of Paragon's most mysterious villains. No one knows who the Hologram truly is, and the empty suits that have been captured reveal nothing to help solve the mystery. Even his Eastern European accent is suspected to be a fake, to throw people off the scent. The inability of Paragon's finest to be able to actually lock him up means he is a regular recurring threat.

The Psyentist
Elaine's career as a lab tech at Paragon Atomic Systems ended when a bizarre accident with Rikti technology unleashed her latent psychic abilities. Now she is half scientist, half crimefighter, all hero.
Although not always on the front line in battle, she and her time traveling friend Holsten Armitage help many heroes in the fight to make the world a safer place.

Sorcerer Primus
The Sorcerer Primus of earth was placed into a Great Sleep long ago after the fall of Mu, to await a time when evildoers would wield magic once again to threaten the world. Now is the long foretold Age of Peril, and Cygnus has awoken into a strange world that he does not really understand. However, he need only look upon the Circle of Thorns or the necromancer called Dr. Vahzillok to know that this is indeed that time when earth needs him once more.

Rampant Rabbit
Bunny Mathers was always an energetic girl, but she was heart-broken when she discovered that it was her mutant abilities that let her take part in 27 different sports. Those same abilities meant she was banned from the competitions that had meant so much to her. Then she discovered the story of a hero with powers like hers named "The Rabbit", who had protected Paragon City in it's golden age. Inspired, she took up the mantle and decided to dedicate herself to fighting crime as the all-new Rampant Rabbit.

Flag Burner
Warren Appel discovered his power to cause vibration while serving in the first Gulf War. His actions led to a dishonorable discharge and a ban from obtaining a hero license. He became increasingly disenchanted with the US and began to train with extremist elements abroad, eventually trying to bring about a superhuman coup in the US. He was the inside man for Arachnos' Zig breakout, and has since joined them in many anti-American attacks, rebranding himself as Flag Burner.

Paul Ocean was a mutant who could absorb and neutralize pollution and radiation. When he resurfaced his powers had driven him mad, and he became Paul Ooshun.

Evac
Leader of the Cleanup Crew, Evac was strong and tough, but not enough to fight crime. Instead he rescued people from fires and helped clear debris. he was murdered by the monster that had once been his team-mate, now known as Paul Ooshun.

Quarantina
Another member of the Cleanup Crew, Quarantina could create forcefields capable of smothering flames or stopping noxious gases escaping, but not enough to stop bullets or bad guys. She originally survived Paul Ooshun's attempts to kill her, but when he escaped from the Zig she was pulled out of retirement to help T.O.X.I.C try and destroy him and the Rogues Gallery. Sadly she did not survive the second encounter.

Jacque O'Lantern
Jacque Potiron was a French mutant who used his psionic-flames to heal people, but as his mutation progressed his head became slowly encased in fibrous tissue, disfiguring him and eventually making it difficult to eat and see properly. Angered and humiliated by people he had used his powers to help, Jacque cut painfully into his face, and carved it into a symbol of fear - a grinning pumpkin. He stole prototype weapons from a Crey nether-Tank and embarked upon a life of crime. If people won't respect him, he will teach them to fear him instead!

Jack is a cross between the crotchety 70 year old man and the ultimate laid back surfer. He can be loud, opinionated, stoic, and quiet at the same time. He will speak his mind, but is also willing to be led. He rarely worries about the small details.

The public tends to see Jack, his marketing department hopes, as a super powered All American grandpa figure. In truth his sense of right/wrong, justice, and honor are nearly a black and white equation. He will do the right thing, as he sees it, and while preferring not to will kill to protect those around him.

Those who have known Jack a long time comment on a personality change. This change is attributed to the death of his family during the Rikti war and his failure to keep his second family, the Urban Legends, together.

He admits to being a bit of a closet letch and loves Paragon for the beautiful women, and their fashion choices. Despite his status as a dirty old man, he is very proper around women and has a huge soft spot for innocents and children

The definition of a "mad" scientist: Thinking it's a good idea to create a giant, sentient humanoid out of a single stalk of frozen broccoli. The Broccolinator doesn't know much about his past. Frequently thrown in The Zig for his attempts to conquer the supermarkets of Paragon City, he was shocked to find out that he was on Lord Recluse's list of potential "Destined Ones". Lavinia Pickmans name derives from "pickmans model " and "The Dunwhich Horror " Lavinia Whatley from the dunwhich horror was the mother of the horrid Wilbur Whatley .

It seemed perfect for a ghoul if I wanted to avoid traditional super hero type names

NeverDarke is a blend of my love for Shoggoths as well as the HP lovecraft tale
" The Music of Erich Zann " about a man that communicated with a eldritch horror via his music .

So Neverdarke has a shoggoth symbiote (ala venom ) she can communicate with via her violin

The Music of Erich Zann was a good one.. I can't really make characters based on my favorite Lovecraft stories, Rats in the Walls and The Beast in the Cave. ..Sightless deformed crazy albino type person? Been done.

Shoggoths are easy to do though since they are amorphous, but they seem to like to shout "Tekeli-li".. might give them away if they are trying to blend in. The idea of blending Zann and Shoggoth styling together though is awesome.

A lovecraft inspired ghoul I play in the MMO city of Heroes , Lavinia Pickman.

when not swiming around the Rogue isles sewers , grave robbing from the various dilapitated grave sites or tending to the Misstresses castle , Lavinia has dreams of becoming a professional party girl and tween music sensation like her idols whose pictures she clips out of every teen scene magazine she can find . sadly she can't quite figure out humans and how to properly interact with them (and they break so easily !)

Since I already posted Psy + Turtleman, Pulse Fire, Weathered and Deathcard back on Page 6.. I'm adding Mystic Owl to the list.

Mystic Owl is a novice sorcerer from Ireland using the form of his spirit animal (or familiar) as his guise to pursue a career as a hero. His real name is Garvan Audley.

That is as much as I have delved so far into him, working on other stuff in my head. If his height is important, he's tall.. around 8'.. but thats mostly because thats the best way to have people glaring into his owl eyes.

well the real honset answer is I try to tailor the art I post for the forums im on
for example I try to stick with girls and super heroes here

Though if there was a big call for half naked pictures of the mods or something I guess I could draw burby and Krypto shirtless and rubbing baby oil on each other to keep their skin soft and supple as joe touched himself in the back ground
