Hi folks,

New to the art thread but a few nights ago I teamed with Dr. Nalla and thought I'd have a go at drawing @Noptraptors character (with some of her family). Far from perfect but I enjoyed doing it, hope it fits with the character as she is imagined.

Any constructive criticism very much welcomed. I do it for fun, but it's good to improve.

I don't have a DA account yet. I started a few months back after a combination of reading Juggy's tutorial (the one for Mindswipe) and being too poor to afford to get real art drawn for all the characters I wanted :)

Hehe, saving money is obviously a big motivator, although you have clearly made a huge leap from art just for yourself to producing the kind of thing that really wows people.

Thanks Flashbulb, it's from an earlier drawing of Paul for the Rogues Gallery. Was pretty happy with it at the time but there's a lot I'd go back and change now.

seriously the coolest part about starting to draw your own stuff is when you stick it out and your doodles start to become recogniseable

Charon was chatting to me about how it would be cool to have some pics of key scenes in Mr. Mud's career, and it reminded me of the little Origins comic-pages Champions Online did of their main heroes and villains. Just a few key scenes to explain where they come from, and add flavour to the story.

Well, I thought I would try my hand at doing the same for Mud's character "Braincell", because I really like the origin story for that guy :)

It amused me that Champions have a Psi character dressed in purple, with purple hair, who leads the Purple Gang.

Clearly they are copying us.
