Is it just me or are we dead? I think we seriously need to think about some Recruitment or else this great idea will go the way of the dodo. IMHO we need at least 15-30 active players to keep things going. At that number, chance are someone can log on and someone else will be playing and we can get some TFs/Raids/Events started if a quarter of us show up. Here are a few talking points I wanted to share:

1) Keep the Uniform Costume/Powers
This I our stick, the thing that really sets us apart I think. Our external identity. I remember in the early days the PCPD and Taxibox were just bad ass looking, and I know I'd want to be in a group like that.

2) Expand the number of Origins
Everyone seems to be of a Time Traveling Origin, which is fine, but it really limits who then could or would join. I think more emphasis needs to be placed on the fact that we are Time Cops and not where we came from.

3) Eliminate the 1 Toon Policy
This is Coh, the land of Alt crazyness. Why do we have this? Why do we need this? If people want to have more than one character I say let em. The League Titans were a loose RP confederate of maybe 20 players originally which spread to fill 3 Supergroups... I've never saw a problem with that.

4) Have a dedicated play night.
Friday is mission night. Monday is Atlas Rping. Saturdays once a month is TF night. If that's what works for the most people, then that's what works. However clearly I think for right now, it's not happening.

5) We need more visibility.
Here, the Coh boards, Atlas, the AE, any where, every where. If people don't see us, then they don't know we exist or would want to join us.

6) Monthly Theme/Events
Personally I think each month should have a loose RP Theme (stop the Council for X reason) that we can all tie into. Then it can culminate into big event (like Charon's RPvP, a Raid, a TF, or massive street sweep). That should get the creative juices flowing and encourage people to want to play.

I get it. We're busy. We're small. This is my 5th Alt. However in the last two months since i16 was released, I've played with only three of you very briefly. For all the prehype, I STILL want to make this thing happen, but from what I'm seeing, it ain't happening. Personally, I think that is due to our numbers... but what do you all think? What's the next step, or should we pack up the base and all head home?

I don't think we are dead, it's just many of us have been very busy lately and the game has been put on the back burner. You have some good ideas in there, I"ll try to post more later if work lets up or at home if I can.

That part won't change much. I've also opened up the gold as a third color choice to compliment the blue and white.

I find it hilarious that everyone got the impression that you HAD to time travel. The original concept is that Chronal and Extradimensional are the ones with the keys to the timeline, leading everyone else along on their plan to correct it. But instead, everyone got caught up in time travel itself and we have conflicting personal goals for the correction of the timeline.

3) Eliminate the 1 Toon Policy

I never really enstated a one toon policy, just to pick a side and keep the sides blind to each other for PVP surprises.

4) Have a dedicated play night.
Friday is mission night. Monday is Atlas Rping. Saturdays once a month is TF night. If that's what works for the most people, then that's what works. However clearly I think for right now, it's not happening.

Lead by example. I tried, and then got busy. You want an SG to work? Pour your heart and soul into it, continue to offer teamups despite turnout - never get discouraged, never relent. People follow dependable structuring. I just can't commit to any time. I work, I train MMA, I try to squeeze in some time for my girl. It's a lot to do.

5) We need more visibility.
Here, the Coh boards, Atlas, the AE, any where, every where. If people don't see us, then they don't know we exist or would want to join us.

Again, having everyone on at the same time, and motivated, is not easy work. We need more ways to drive up enthusiasm.

Pitch ideas, get friends involved. Takes a great deal more work than you may imagine. It's hard as hell for me to get the Ventrilo crew together nowadays with Left 4 Dead 2 and Borderlands.

Stick around. I started on the base. I'm not giving up, I love Honorable. I'll be here, and maybe one of us will bleed an epic RP story into the midst of it all and frenzy us up.
