So I'm on my annual pre-expansion sojourn to 'the Grande Dame' and wanted to see if anyone's playing or possibly looking for a break from the everyday. If so, know that I'm active ingame with my own guild full of decent to well developed characters, mainly level 65+ and I'm planning to mint some new 85s this month (so grouping opportunities abound). I know Akamaz took a trip to Norrath earlier this year (but on the "wrong" server! :P). Getting up to snuff should only take a day (can group for xp with 85s starting at level 58 and 1-65 can be done in a day with my crew, though the majority of my group is under 80 atm).

Anyhow, details are:

Server: Fennin Ro (Torvonnilous)
Guild: Rendition (http://eqplayers.station.sony.com/guild_profile.vm?guildId=472446403489)

All characters in Rendition right now are me. I don't have everyone reactivated yet (if I do it at all) and there are a few of my accounts not yet in the guild (because I haven't activated them in like 2 years and don't really think I need a 7th cleric :P) but those are the key ones. I have several other, lower level alts in another guild (the aptly named Shrike Corp (http://eqplayers.station.sony.com/guild_profile.vm?guildId=472446403386)) I can also use, if the need arises.

I have characters on Prexus, if thats where this was id be all over it, but not sure im willing to pay for a transfer for a game im pretty sure i'll only play for a couple months.

I really do love EQ when you got a solid group of people to hang out with all the time, no game has ever gotten the grouping aspect down quite as well as they did. Every class has a role (of some kind) and everyone needs to cover that role in order to be successful, its not about just bring mass amounts of damage to the encounter, and i love that.

Yeah, my main (Glitter, SK) and one of my rogues (Devania) were born on Prexus during one of my previous trips back. The game becomes as "easy" as CoX if you have a ready made group that plays every day. But most of the fun nowadays comes from pushing the limits til they break (hello Guild Lobby, nice to see ya!) which is what we did most of the time.

Right now I'm trying something really radical and out there. 2 bards, ranger, cleric, no mercs. It is anything but boring. :P But I realized that the biggest part of trying out or returning to an older MMO is 'do I know anyone playing?' so I figured I'd mention that I'm riding the ol' biddy again. Even considering joining what passes for a raid guild nowadays. :P
