Temporal Guardians
First line of defense against corruption of the time stream.
We are a casual RP SG that focuses on being able to re-imagine the COX storyline from the standpoint of a time traveler trying to keep an out-of-control vehicle from slamming into a pack of schoolgirls. Figuratively speaking.
As an example, the TG got together and made Honorable, level 10, the leader. He had an arc from Julius the Troll to embark upon. But the twist is that, in a roleplay sense, we're not just doing stories. These arcs become guidelines to correcting the uncertain future. Honorable's PDA beeped with information from his mentor, Extradimensional, that if Julius' arc was not completed, the timeline would deviate, and the Hollows would be reduced to a pit of fire and ash.
This is how we keep our game content fresh. Instead of doing it to do it, we do it because not doing it will cause future ramifications. If the Freaklympics are not stopped, for instance, we're going to lose a large chunk of Independence Port when the medals are contested at its conclusion and the Freaks rebel with senseless anarchistic violence.
Each member of our group has their own story. Not all of us are time travelers, some of us are just thrust into the group for their talents or insights. Honorable, for instance, is just a kid. But 10 years from now, he saves Extradimensional's life and earns his name. As such, Extadimensional is molding him into the person he knows the kid will become, because that's how the timeline actually plays out. (Wrap your head around that...)
Or you have an Android from the future like Aetas, who is here to prevent his own future from succumbing to war and devastation. All members are different.
We're here to have fun. That's what it comes down to.
