http://www.virtueverse.com/images/Breakbanner.jpg
Who We Are:
We are an RP VG on the Virtue Server.
What We Do:
We RP and have fun.
Requirements:
RP is kinda mandatory.
You've gotta be awesome (JT was our only exception).
What You Get:
You get to have fun and RP!
Other than that, we do MA story Arcs (Including our super awesome recruitment arc). We also just goof off sometimes too.
Background:
Basically, the 4 original Breakouts (Bioshift, Webspider, Halfway, and Hideout) met in the Zig and teamed up to break out. All they wanted was to make it big. We aren't the world domination type, more like super-powered (And non super-powered) thugs and vagabonds that have banded together under a common goal.

Hmm... I'd be interested in joining with my new Robotics/Pain MM, though I don't know if he is "awsome" enough. I originally posted him here (http://www.cohguru.com/forum/showpost.php?p=336878&postcount=6223) in the Cool Alts Thread, but I'm still trying to come up with a name so I can bring him into the game.
Background is a Ex Crey Security Agent who went postal and tried stealing a bunch of experimental technology before being caught. Now he plans on making a run for the Rogue Isles and joining up with Arachnos, that is if he can ever get out of the Zig first. Inspiration is from "Ghost in the Shell" with a little bit of "Second Sight" smashed into Generic Stormtrooper 157. Oh, and I forget to mention that he also has "awsome" haxzor telepathic powerz!?!!
So does he fit the bill for your little club?

He'd actually make a nice little in-character protege for Webspider. The basic idea of the Breakouts is that it's a bunch of guys with a whole lot to prove without the means to prove it - so they just make the means themselves.

Color Me interested. I have two new villains of which I'd have to decide from.
Pretty much anyone is able to join, with a few "exceptions":
Arachnos Operatives - With Webspider harboring a grudge against Arachnos for what happened to him, Arachnos operatives probably aren't eligible to join. This does not mean VEATs can't join. If your VEAT isn't actually a member of Arachnos, or they were a member but have revolted against Arachnos, you're in the clear. Heck, even people that are posing as eager-to-prove-themselves villains, but are actually Arachnos spies are free to join, it would make for good RP.
World Domination Villains - Those guys like Dr. Doom and Lex Luthor that only want to take over the world. It'd not that these type of villains can't join, it's just that, from an RP standpoint, they probably wouldn't want to join. If you're that type of villain and you want to join to further your own agenda, then great. Feel free to sign up.
As you can see, these exceptions aren't really exceptions at all.

Hmm, sounds like a good group for Crewman. Might have a real reason to play him.

Dr. Antarctic
Real name: Marty Mugford
Ice/Ice Corruptor
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Marty Mugford was a two-bit crook who never achieved anything in his life. He robbed liquor stores for a living and that achieved nothing but a long sentence in the Zig. The Zig was an unusual prison with super-powered criminals coming in all the time.
Marty had no problem keeping a low profile in prison because he was in deep depression, plus he wasn't even considered that dangerous compared to other inmates. He had hoped for one big break sometime in his life but it was nowhere in sight and he was about to give up.
The next day he watched Clancy Callahan, Mason Maddox and Derek Prewitt break out of the Zig. They weren't big time criminals, but they combined their talents and busted out! It gave him a glimmer of hope, but Marty had no talents to speak of. Again, he was back to waiting for a break. He threw up his hands frustrated, and told himself, "Forget it Marty, just forget it!"
Marty slouched in his cell, then sat up straight as he watched a large mob of guards suddenly bring in a new guy. He wore a strange looking blue insulated suit with a mask and small tank attached to it. Heat started emanating from the solid chamber that was directly next to his cell. The other inmates were whispering back and forth on the lower deck saying things like,
"It's Dr. Antarctic, thats why they need the heat man."
"His suit keeps him alive."
"The ice comes from that suit of his."
When they neared Marty's cell, chaos ensued. Ice began flying everywhere with several guards being frozen immediately. Marty's cell door was hit by an ice blast and froze solid. He thought quickly, jumped to his feet and kicked the door, shattering it to pieces. Marty had a better view of the action now and he could see only one guard left standing. Dr. Antarctic had his back to Marty getting ready to fire another blast towards the remaining guard. Marty grabbed another guard's rifle lying on the floor and ran towards the Doctor as fast as he could. As he let his ice blast flow from his hand towards the last guard, Marty knocked him over the head with the rifle. The alarm screamed loudly as Marty dragged Dr. Antartic into his cell. The thoughts of finally getting that big break flashed through his mind as he swiftly removed the suit from the Doctor.
To his surprise, the suit was not keeping the mysterious doctor alive, but the cold power was definitely coming from the suit and the mask was part of it. It fit Marty like a glove and made his escape from the Zig a piece of cake. Not only did the suit give him power, but a new identity. He left the two-bit crook image behind that night and became Dr. Antarctic!

Let me know what you think.
Really cool, and I like how you tied the Breakouts into it.

Really tempted to either throw Income into this, or make up a new guy called "Amatuer", but, my play times are wonky, I have a million alts at it is, and my interest for characters tend to wane in and out.
Nevertheless, The Breakouts seem really awesome.
Oh we are awesome, we even have a (female) stripper!

Shhh. No one likes a braggart. :P
Anyone who's interested in joining can contact either me, CC, JT, or High Jinks and we can talk.
This week is a good week for you to contact me because I still have a week left before school starts. CC starts tomorrow and JT starts Wednesday. Jinks is a creepy old guy that has finished school already, but he's not on as much.

I still need to catch you in-game.
I have been playing Thoom almost exclusively lately, but I'll watch for you and bring in Dr. Antarctic when you have time.
