View Full Version : You Will Cry - Even If You Are The Toughest Man
This (http://www.flashplayer.com/animation/imissyoudaddy_movie.php) movie here is...my God. It brought a few tears to my eyes. Just watch it. I'm not no to shed a tear over a Flash movie, but I had to leave the room. It's beautfiul.

It is hard to see children go through such things. If this is a true story then I hope that the little girl lives on to make her father proud. It's never easy to have someone that close to you leave. In all honesty I wish no child ever had to go through such things. Such things can make someone so much stronger too. There is no greater treasure then those you love. Sadly unlike gold once it's gone it can never be replaced.
My prayers go out to you all tonight. Thank you for being a part of my collection of treasures :)

God bless all the children that have to endure such trouble things. Watch them, keep them, and protect them. God, please strengthen them to keep on and to grow up so that they can each make the ones they lost proud and that they honor You in all they do.
And Lord, there are parents that lost children during this time. Help them to not feel as if it was their fault. Help them to deal with the lose. Strengthen their resolve to reach out and touch the lives of other children that had less than the children they lost. Give them peace.
Lord, help this nation grow back closer to You. Back to the bases of the country the reason is was founded. Worshiping You in any way without persecution. Touch the hearts of this country and soften them to You.
In Jesus name I pray and for you glory
Amen

Yeah. I said a prayer for the girl and her mother. In the movie it said, "It's been a year, daddy," so this was done in 2002. I think she's in third grade now. I wish I could find out the names so I can be more specific, but God knows who I'm talking about. Heh.
I managed to get through the entire thing last night before I went to sleep. Hit me real hard.
I remember when that song came out on the radio. My sister and I were in the car, and I had to pull over we were cryin so hard. Our neighbor across the street died in the pentagon, so it really hit home for us, as we had to watch his wife and kids deal with it. I've listened to it probably 50 times and it makes me tear every single one.

Ok, call me heartless, but I have had it with that crap. You kinda lose out on the total grief and tragic loss of others when you sit in a car for six hours trying to get home when it normally takes 6 minutes.
On top of the fact the AC was broken and my mom complained and god. The feeling died after hour four. No one I knew died but I had to deal with it. Friends had those who died. My mom's real estate clients dealed with it, but sitting in traffic for SIX HOURS kills any chance of human emotion.
Don't get me started on the shameful use of religion on there. (I clicked the big red x on the top once music played. 80's songs and religion don't mix)

I think maybe it's because I'm young and selfish but it didn' hit me hard at all. Good flash and good idea though.
