So, I've lately been getting hooked on Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter(I know, a little late on the uptake there) and after having played it pretty obsessively online, I've decided to check out the other games in the Tom Clancy Universe.

I've ruled out EndWar and Hawx for now, since I'm a bit more interested in the tactical shooter genre right this moment, so it's actually between GRAW 2, and Rainbow 6 Vegas/Rainbow 6 Vegas 2.

Has anyone dabbled in either of these games at all on any platform?

I played a lot of Vegas 1 and 2. Great multiplayer modes and both have a nice campaign mode. Terrorist hunt is a lot of fun.

Did you like 2 better? I've read that folks liked 1 by leaps and bounds, but I can't seem to see any real huge difference.

1 just had more impact back then, the player base was more active and hardcore. 2 added elements for more casual players, which annoyed those players. And since there is very little difference in the actual gameplay and 2 lacks most of the multiplayer maps that 1 had, many went back to playing 1, leaving 2 with a smaller player base.
But just for actuality's sake, I'd go with 2.
