So I got a few under my belt, so I figured I'd post them in one easy spot.
All these zip files just unzip to your \city of heroes\data\ folder.
Here (http://home.comcast.net/~fuzzyweis/da_windex.zip) is the mod that clears the skies in DA, you'll probably want to make a shortcut to the sky.bat file in \scenes\skies\, and to activate this mod click your shortcut once in game.
Here (http://home.comcast.net/~fuzzyweis/cape_5.zip) is a cape pattern mod that makes Pattern 5 just have fringy edges instead of a 2nd color. I really like it for my Paragon Falcon character and such the like.
Here (http://home.comcast.net/~fuzzyweis/ug_emblem.zip) is the Underground's supergroup emblem(symbol 8) changed to better represent ourselves. If you'd like to show your support for the underground, then feel free to with this emblem.
I do ok with the cape pattern/emblem stuff, so if you'd like me to give something a go let me know. The DA thing was a fluke that I got to work, but am soooo glad I did.
And if anyone has a mod to make the stock assault rifle a shotgun, let me know, I so don't need a super soaker for my holy shotgun shell temp powers.

that's a crock, I don't need a super soaker! I have the holy hand grenade of antioch!
Anyways, next mod, it's a badge, yeah that's right.
Here (http://home.comcast.net/~fuzzyweis/badge_emblem.zip) is the zip file, as before unzip to your \city of heroes\data folder, and it replaces the gear emblem with a badge shaped emblem as shown below.

I always used the gear emblem on this character as a badge by making the small gear gold and the big gear try to blend with the chest color.

Yeah, but my question is can you get text on the badge?

Well somewhat, I could get text on the badge, but it would be the other color that you chose for your chest emblem. And then to other people without the mod it would look like the big gear was the 2nd color type of thing.
If you are putting it as the pocket pattern for jackets and such, then I'd change a different one, but emblems are limited to 2 colors(or a blend of the 2 as in the cube emblem)
It's like the mod I did for our supergroup emblem, our SG colors are red and black so it sorta works out. I have different shades of the red to sort of give texture.

New Turbogun rifle mod. My futuristic technology AR/NRG blaster looked crappy with the standard rifle, enter, Turbogun!
right click on the pick to save the mod, unzip to your city of heroes\data folder, enjoy.

That's really tough Stan, with Geometries, here's an example of how much you can strip from the gun before it starts to have transparent issues.

http://home.comcast.net/~fuzzyweis/guncrop2.jpg
With the old way of swapping out the 'assigned guns' that Akurei was using, where you could take any gun in the game and make that the default gun for AR players, it would have been possible using existing game revolvers.
That method isn't working anymore for weapons, so texturing is what's left.
With that, there is only so much you can strip away before you start to see through the weapon at different angles. In this case, the 'brick' of the gun must remain, and if you want one of the barrels on it has to be the entire barrel.
Working within that, I could change the texture to look more like an Uzi or something.

Sorry, maybe search google images for old style rifles or gatling guns, if you find something that might work let me know I'll take a look.
