I really hope someone does pick this up. I remember spending many, many, many fond hours playing Duke Nukem 3D, and I really do want this game to come out. Seeing those clips a while back really got me excited that it might actually see the light of day. Now I'm really bummed out.

Also, Shadow Warrior; just as much fun as Duke Nukem but with more Asian stereotyping!

In addition, Take-Two has released a statement to outlets including Shacknews, as follows: "We can confirm that our relationship with 3D Realms for Duke Nukem Forever was a publishing arrangement, which did not include ongoing funds for development of the title. In addition, Take-Two continues to retain the publishing rights to Duke Nukem Forever."

This came out at the end of March this year...

To promote/celebrate their new retro-trilogy of games, they are running a contest for the next "Convention-PR dude/look-a-alike/whatever"

So 3D-Realms Lives (http://pc.ign.com/articles/984/984145p1.html) but DNF is at least on hold as the team had to be dropped

Okay...So 3D realms essentially "closed down" to cause everyone to freak out, then when they announce they're not really closing down everyone will be all over them for when DNF comes out?
