My money is more on 2010. They keep trying to say this year, and I'm sure it's possible, but I'm gonna be cautiously optimistic like that because I've wanted this forever. I think Duke Nukem 3D may have been my 1st FPS, even if it may have been the demo(though it could've been the demo of Rise of the Triad just before it, but still)

Wars:

* The American War for Independence
* The United States Civil War
* World War I
* The United State's involvement in the Vietnam War.
* World War II and the entire Manhattan Project. Yes, even the complete development of the atomic bomb took less time.

I still have Duke Nuke'em 3D packed away in one of the boxes. I bought all the add ons and mods too. Nothing like killing space pigs in various DC Landmarks or with a Super-Soaker in the Caribbean :)

Just hope this comes out soon. I need a new distraction ;)

I unpacked mine, recently... found a High Res patch thingy that enables Duke to run on Windows XP and wanted something to help drag me out of the depressed funk I've been in lately.

When I ran across the RPG only to hear Duke's voice deliver one of his infamous one-liners... it was the first genuine out loud chuckle I've had in months. Maybe not so much a chuckle as a quiet, but giddy laugh. :cool:
