Many computers ago I had bookmarked webpages to download free fantasy counters to use with table-top rpgs instead of shelling out cash for minis.

As I say, that was many computers ago. :(

Does anyone have any links to sites that have that sort of thing?

I Know there was something of what you wanted on wizards home page, (I'm at work and can't look it up). But I did find these site:

I even went as far as buying several from warehouse 23, but thier site is down atm. Just do a search for Paper Minitures.
