Not according to the article you linked too.

In its statement announcing the closing of WizKids, Topps also indicated that it was pursuing “strategic alternatives so that viable brands and properties, including HeroClix, can continue without any noticeable disruption.”

this is too bad. i remember starting with MageKnights. it was my gateway drug into warhammer 40k. they shall be missed.

To be honest, I've been expecting this to happen for years, ever since Topps bought them out. But I didn't know Michael Eisner owned Topps now, that's crazy! IMO, he's the devil incarnate.

As for Heroclix; I think they've made damn near every character in the Marvel and DC Universes twice by now... so its departure will be sad, but not nearly as sad as it would've been if they'd never made an Ambush Bug.
