Only because my PC has a 10% chance of being able to run it. Either way, I'm to broke to get it on either.

My new computer will be able to run it and it looks friggen sweet. Of course, I haven't played an of the other games in the series, so that's holding me back a little.
I also have next to no money because I wanted to get that collectors edition with the lunch box, alarm clock and bobble head so I might not be able to get that.
Hopefully it'll be like what happened with Halo 3. People will preorder the deluxe set and not pick it up so I'll be able to get it for the same price as the game itself.

If you played Oblivion then feel fine and then fall into the story.
Also, I hope I can find the Special Edition used when I finally have cash

I am for the PS3. So many games, so little time, still trying to finish my season in NHL09, working on Rock Band 2, now trying to complete the abhorrence of a game that is Guitar Hero World Tour so that I can sell that back, working on Little Big Planet, and now Fallout 3 is coming. I need to get fired or something so I can take some time to catch up on all my games. :D

Yeah, it's a busy time for gamers atm. Fable 2, Little Big Planet, Fallout 3, DC VS MK, Silent Hill 5, Dead Space, Gears of War 2, Resistance 2, WWE Smackdown VS Raw 2009, etc, etc... Too many games, too little time!

Yes it is. Can't wait to get rid of GHWT, what a crappy game compared to RB2. Little Big Planet is awesome and I just find sack boy to be adorable. Fallout 3 looks awesome, not a game I would typically play but I think I will this time around :)

I love my RB2, great fun in a dorm. Also, now that all instruments work for it(including RB) I will probably get GHWT.
Also, for those of us with the option of either the PS3 or 360 version, the editor PSM officially said the 360 version is graphically better
Bitter Babe
10-28-2008, 03:12 PM
I'll be honest, RB2 is way more fun, both games have most of the same songs, character creator in RB2 is better. GHWT seems like a very sloppy RB to me. I think they should have stuck with guitar hero only.

you just KNOW the PC version is going to be crawling with mods within the next few months. The modders in the bethesda/elder scrolls community are insanely talented, and I hear Fallout 3 will have the sameish modding tools oblivion had.

WRONG!
For clarification purposes : He meant to say that you are not supposed to be able to RENT PC games in the states. I am not sure if they cleared up the laws; I've seen places that did in the past, but nowadays I don't. Probably buckled under more to "pressure" (Anti-Piracy) than anything else.
As for XBox/360 : Meh, I picked this up at midnight. I wanted the PS3 version, but as happens, they got my order mixed up (they know me, I pick "either/or" for systems). So, I got the XBox 360 Lunch box ("Pail" is so 1950's/European :p ). Kinda not wanting to return it, I went out and picked out a normal PS3 version of Fallout 3 afterwards. :p Yes, very silly and wasteful of me.
I may test out the graphics, but not sure how they could be all too different. I am mainly playing on the PS3, because it doesn't get enough love (besides playing DVDs and Blu-Rays; I rarely use the XBox for this. Hate the interface).
Still having fun either way. And none of the "Good/Evil/Nuetral at Level X" achievements to worry about. :p

Besides the modding, I can't stand these types of games on console. Morrowind was so much better on PC, then I got Oblivion on 360, because my PC couldn't handle it.. that was dumb. If my computer couldn't have handled Fallout 3, I would have passed on it for the time being. Theres numerous other games, most FPS (I said most not all, calm down.) and RTS, that should only be played on PC but Bethesda's style of RPG is a definite PC game.

PC for the win. And I suppose a level cap is good... I mean, in Oblivion, I never really got past 32 anyway, how much would you ever want to level one particular guy?
The game is really and truly fun. But I'm speaking as a guy that loved oblivion. Yeah, the controls could be tighter, and the FPS isn't what I'd consider TRUE fps (no use of cover, bullets to the face do as many HP damage as bullets to the foot) but all in all, it's super fun and all I think about while I'm at work is getting home and playing it more.
The world map seems smaller than Oblivion's, though, but that in itself may not be such a bad thing, as the wasteland is just that... a wasteland. Would you really need MORE of it?

I use cover all the time, and enemies seem to as well (which reflects in the VATS %'s I see). Damage to the head does a seizeable chunk more than anywhere else. Unarmored locations take more than armored ones as well.

Looking optimistically, it could be an honest mistake.
Looking Pessimistically, they could have sold it to someone else for some reason.

Strength: 2
Perception: 6

Now I am mostly focusing on Small Guns, Repair and Speech. With some boosts to other skills when needed.

Based off the forum information I’ll probably start off with.
Strength: 5
Perception: 5
Endurance: 5

Agility: 6

Small Guns, Repair and medicine.

I'm trying to actually Role-Play myself:
Strength: 8
Perception: 5
Endurance: 6
Charisma: 7
Intelligence: 7
Agility: 4
Luck: 4
I know that 4 points in Agility sucks, but I'm kind of clumsy myself.
Melee weapons, Repair and Speech.
Still loving the bat, though.

I also restarted :P
My first time through I focused more on sneak/lockpicking/repair/science/medicine, which meant my small arms skill dropped, meaning the farther in game I got, the worse my aim and the longer it took to kill things ._.
So this time through I messed with things.
Strength: 2
Perception: 7
Endurance: 3
Charisma: 7
Intelligence: 6
Agility: 6
Luck: 6
Now for this time, I started focusing on the small guns skill first, with sneak/lockpicking/science/medicine/repair on the side. It works out well so far, and I <3 sniper rifles. Too bad the ammo for it is a pain to find =/

I rented it and I'm hooked. Its as addicting as Oblivion, if not more so, and I just can't get enough. In truth, the shooting feels fine but after you use VATS a bit(even if it annoys you when it misses) it almost feels arbitrary and depressing to be popping shots off at a target a ways away. Also, the only other gripe is that as great as long range shooting and guns in general are, it can be to hard to find ammo and literally bring a knife(or bat) to a gun fight is way lopsided if not impossible as many enemies can be perched on high.
That being said, I am so totally hooked. I went with small guns, science and lockpicking, and am pretty happy yet I still find myself relying on a hunting rifle 9 times out of ten. Also, while I want to keep good karma and I come up as generally good, I've been a fan of pickpocketing and theft since Oblivion, which came further from the Thief games, so its a tug-o-war. I think the enemies are varied enough, and once you beat your first Super Mutant, the combat overall is more fun instead of being a little worried about it as I was at first. I find I'm even more inclined to combat then in Oblivion due to toying with it.
The only other thing I can actually gripe on is the ruins of D.C., they're pretty interesting, but its so hard to get to where you're trying to go. There's so much debris blocking the paths and even if you can climb it you can't get over it. I'm trying to get to that radio station and every why I go is blocked and I've almost circled it on both sides, that is also why I have ammo trouble because there are enemies up high all over. I mean, most buildings you can't get into, and I'd be fine with fighting my way to the other side, and the subway gives no help with the direction you're headed. I can't figure out a way through them to where I want. Speaking of which, does anyone know where to find The Family, like for the mission from the West chick in Megaton?

They are in a train station near Arefu. It's the last place King mentions. After you finish that quest come back and discuss it with me, I am interested in how *you* solve it.
Sheppy did you ever play the original Fallout? I hear people on the main forums complaining how hard he is to keep alive, but the ironic thing is that I had *countless* reloads to keep him alive to the end in the original game, which is odd for me because I tend to play like I'm in the wasteland - what happens happens. Well, as I had time to raise many a level, and raise speech(though might have been able to before) I talked through it.
Got the first guard to let me in, then convinced every member of the family(including his wife, and I got the 'lusty' one with Lady Killer) to give me the password, then got Vance himself. Then I went in, gave Ian the letter and he left them, and got the Family to protect Arefu in exchange for their liquids ;)
Good arc.

This has been occupying most of my free time. :p
There are some small spoilers below, so don't read if it bothers you. I am using a guidebook. but will try to keep info to a minimium and stick with what I chose.
My start stats :
STR : 5
PERC : 7
END : 4
CHR : 5
AGIL : 7
INT : 7
LCK : 5
I tagged Science and Medicine for Tags skills; I forgot the third. Probably Sneak. I also decided what weapon(s) to focus on; I chose Small Arms and Energy Weapons; mostly Long Range Kills, but I am finding the value of a Baseball Bat, although I prefer the Chinese Officer's sword, especially when you are RUNNING LOW on bullets and the enemy is close to dead. Circle strafe in third person (behind) view is best for up-close combat.
I admit, a bit into Level 3 and then into Level 5 was HARD for finding bullets, but now I am closing in on Level 8 and my strategy is paying off.
First, I bought the perk to increase Int by +1; for more skill points. I also bought the Educated perk, which gives you 3 additional skill points per level. I then saved my Skill Books I found and waited to by the Perk that increases reading from Skill books by 2, instead of one (Hint : There are 25 of these books for each skill out in the world, at +2, you are looking at a possible +50 for every skill, if/when you find the books). I also know there are bobbleheads for each skill AND Stat. So, that is extra there. My Int is now 9, having found the Int Bobblehead (I looked for that info, ask if you want to know). I am okay with my 9 Int at Level 7; I am gonna have so many Skill Points as it is, many will be wasted. I plan to level up most of my skills to 50 and let Skill books/bobbleheads do the rest. My advice is, at max, IF you feel the need to raise a Stat, DON'T raise it to 10 (Icy...), raise it to 9, then get the Bobblehead. You only get 1-3 skill points with your Int at 10 at Level 1, wheras you can get the perks, the skill books, an the bobblehead relatively soon (if you know where to look. Just ask here).
I had to increase my End to 5 with the perk, to get ready for Toughness (+10 Natural Armor). I "foolishly" picked up the Lady Killer Perk, but I am more about dialogue and it is nice to have a bonus against female enemies (I say 25-35% of enemies are female in the game).
I am doing my natural Fallout strategy. That of selling items to vendors, buying what I need, then pickpocketing them to get my money back. :) Karma is no big thing for me, I normally do good quests, but there is always donations and those "bums" asking for Purified Water outside of towns like Megaton and Rivet City (I have not used Purified Water). Also, treating Gob (the Ghoul in Megaton City's bar) nice gives you an extra charisma point with him. This is good for selling stuff. Stims also cost less to buy from him, but vendors take 1-2 days in game time to restock items and money. The key to pickpocketing, other than crouching and generally not being seen by others, is 50+ sneak skill for the most part AND getting DIRECTLY behind them; in most cases, staring at their butt! Then you can pickpocket. I tend to save before every attempt. It is safer to steal one item/column than "ALL at Once" from NPCs, but IF they catch you, and grab their items back, they tend to only grab ONE item, so you get their other stuff. But, you can't pickpocket again, so...SAVE/LOAD is better.
I also have a tendency to TAKE WHATEVER IS NOT BOLTED DOWN. So, this has me doing multiple trips to my chosen storage area. If you don't have a place of your own, pick one box for now and visit fairly regularly, like in fast travel attempts, every other time or every second time, because the game is weird about slowly resetting things back. Bodies can stay around forever but if you don't visit places frequently, they tend to disappear. I have to of the more essential wandering NPCs of Megaton die on me seemingly from falling accidents (Old Nathan and Walter, the water guy). Walter was bad, because he pays 10 caps for every "Scrap Metal" piece found (as oppossed to 1 cap everywhere else). But, having found the Arlington Library, they pay 100 caps for every Pre-War Book you find...and 10 are already in the Library! Potentially, if you find every Pre-War book (not scorched or ruined) you could get 11,000 caps! Since I am such a pack rat, this is for me. And don't forget the sweet pickpocket money!
I am wondering what Perk to take next, I was sorely tempted to take Fortune Hunter (more caps) but I resisted. I *may* take Scrounger (More Ammo), but I may not need this, even if I could use a bit more Ammo, I am semi-comfortable now. Toughness is a must, but there is also the Gunslinger perk, less Ammo usage because you Crit more often with single hand weapons, but Commando may be better (two handed rifles) because rifles do more damage. Then there is the Sniper Perk, beckoning to me... (Need more Sniper Rifle ammo atm)
I am tempted to take Strong Back (50 more carry weight) but I may resist this, even if weapons and equipment get heavier. I already have the Strength Bobblehead, so my STR is 6 now.
Following Moira's little Side Quests DOES help your character, you even get a free perk if you choose to do the optional stuff for her. There is one quest in Rivet City (Replicated Man) that, if you play both ends, you can wind up with the best of BOTH worlds.

Also, common sense (but does dig into weight!), carry stat enhancing gear and put it on when you need to. It does help one hold off from dumping skill points early into a particular stat and allows you to raise others fairly quickly. My Lockpick skill is not 45, but I got the +5 clothes, so I can use the 5 skill points for other things when I level, like Speech or Science (eventually Barter). The Charisma stat becomes less important IMO, when your speech and barter is high...and you are wearing your sexy sleepwear. :naughty:
I would like to raise Luck, but I think my Gun skills will be good enough, especially with Perks. So, the Bobble head of Luck will most likely be my only stat bump, moving it to 6.

Your close, keep looking.
Also, am I the only one that hates the damn Mirelurks the most?
I can imagine why... :chuckle:
The face is the best place to hit it, but you like to melee. I can tell you, their armor protects them, even from bulletfire. I battled against a Murelurk hunter, and those can be tough AND damaging. There is another Murelurk type out there, if you read your loading screens, that does sonic damage from afar. Needless to say, I am dreading coming against this type.
Hopefully, my combat skills will Crit alot by then, making short work out of those baddies.

Most commonly you can find me in either some armor or the Sheriff's Duster as the Sheriff of Megaton died when taking in Mr. Beck. You get more respect around Megaton, higher small weapons skill as well as charisma

I remember reading mention of "that hat" but not what it did. I tend to wear the Motorcycle helmet for protection, but I love stat gear, so I mostly wear the Armored 101 Vault suit Moira gives you.
I know the outcomes of the quest, but haven't had the "heart" to make a poor virtual-game boy an orphan. :P Still haven't picked up the property in town. I may have to try this with the Burke/Simms showdown and get both sets of gear.
Although I am off in a tangent, collecting Bobbleheads between bouts of exploring and other quest.

I may have to get that, I do like the coolness of it and I know of some wandering dudes. Just worried it weighs too damn much for me to collect/sell junk and it not having stat/skill bumps. I gotta check up on it.

Well, the duster is his jacket(I thought it should be the hat too) but Burkes stuff is for charisma too. I have to say I like the jacket for the sheriff but sold the hat, and I usually wear some combat armor. Also, as a guilty pleasure, and because it is actually tough, I wear the helmet of The Mechanist :)

There's an easy way to not destroy the town, not get the sheriff killed, and not get either of their stuff. Get the quest to defuse the nuke. Defuse it. Get the reward from the sheriff. Talk to Burke. Works really well.

Generally speaking, besides stat enhancing armor I tend to like, I do like light stuff, and that probably applies to armor as well. :)
When I got the sledge hammer, I thought I was all set to put in a good final kill blow to things that ran up to me, NOT SO! When you equip it, your movement is SLOWED, so it is harder to circle-strafe and avoid head-charges by Murlocks, Super Muties, and just about any NPC. The drop in speed was not worth it, imo. This goes for swinging the damn thing, too! It's heavy so it swings slower than a sword or baseball bat!.
But, everyone has to just own a set of Power Armor, even if it's "just because..." :)

Yeah, I could have beaten it by now...seriously, but I held myself back and wanted to do the side quests (I am always like that; one reason it can be hard to finish games).
There seems to be many games out atm like that. One central quest that can be done in a day or three (or less!) and lots of sidequests. Not sure if I like this trend, especially since I sometimes buy these games at full retail. Mind you, I do like exploring and taking things not nailed down, but it does seem like some of the side quests coulda been incorporated into the main one.

When I get bored or stressed from class I just start mowing down the citizens of megaton, interesting fight with all the levels and such.
And yes, I probably could've beaten it by now too but I try for tons of side quests(and achievements) and they're all really beneficial. Like Reilly's Rangers was a fun challenge, lots of different ways to do it, lots of supplies, and in the end I got the Ranger's armor which is like super awesome-tastic.
Also, I heard once you beat the main arc its done, and that's to depressing, but I may try to beat it by tomorrow night as I rented it and pick up an old save, or start over as I'd planned.

First one I ran into kicked my ass, and I didn't expect him to have friends further in. They are the biggest pain in the arse, for real. Like, rockets do some of the best damage but pretty much everything is little more then a scratch. Best 'technique' I've found is to use the dart gun as it cripples like every limb and can help you put some distance between you.
Also, I've found rad roach killing to be a guilty pleasure. Like everything(with a certain perk at least ;)) when solo shot to the head it flies off and they loose limbs, but if using a 10 mm Sub-machine gun or, if you want to waste the ammo, an assault rifle they pop in a big green geyser, just random fun.

I just picked this game up yesterday, it is the most fun thing I've pretty much ever played. I got it for PC.
I'm playing a guy right now just to see where it goes not being a goody goody or a baddie bad, just like whatever gets it done. I love the different outcomes of this game with like the random NPCs and whether they live or die...
I'm still in Megaton helping Moria with her book I'm taking it slow...
AND
Billy Creel's armor is so god damn awesome but after hearing his story I don't have the heart to kill him and take it hahaha.
Oh and I love killing Radroaches with bats, most fun thing to do ever...also try goin into Jerhico's house and getting his sword and then using that on roaches, so fun...
yeah so this game is the ****zzzzorrrzzzz
Gold Rush
11-08-2008, 07:57 AM
Yeah, I like the sword, but I see more bats. I tend to knock out radroaches just with bats, because I can one-shot kill them and I don't wanna waste ammo on them (at 1 XP each).
I know what you mean by NPCs, I am still debating whether or not to tell the sheriff about Burke and stop his possible death, leaving his kid an orphan.
Deathclaws
Only ran into one and I got lucky with him. It was at an underground metro entrance out in the wastelands; he had already mopped up the 3 wastelander NPCs there (free items!), so he was semi-wounded. It took awhile to whittle him down, but apparently, the AI prevented him from going inside the fenceline, so I would retreat, then he would turn around, run at him, shoot a few times, and repeat a few times. Definitely looks to be a tough customer up close.
Anyone gone to the fallen UFO crash site yet?

Not yet, but I want to comment on something, if you haven't done "Trouble on the Homefront" then don't read, its one with tons of options(so many have that, mainly as skills increase and such, its harder to decide)
Anyways, so I went in, talked to Amata, and then convinced the Overseer that it was idiotic to keep it closed and he put her in charge. But I have to say, I was actually upset to be asked to leave, I was hoping they'd stay instantly open and I'd have another home base
For another note, which ever part of the main arc it is where you find your Dad in Vault 112 was pure brilliance in there.
And finally, today is my last day with the game and I am sad. That is why I'm up at 3 a.m., I wanted to get more done and couldn't stop. I got as far being let into the Citadel(you'll get it) and now I can use the armor from "You Gotta Shoot Them in the Head"(or something like that) I go back home, i.e. off campus :P, and its do back, I almost don't want to go back and let it be overdue for another week, to bad I didn't rent from Blockbuster

Anything Goes by Cole Porter
Times have changed,
And we’ve often rewound the clock,
Since the Puritans got a shock,
When they landed on Plymouth Rock.
If today,
Any shock they should try to stem,
‘Stead of landing on Plymouth Rock,
Plymouth Rock would land on them.
In olden days a glimpse of stocking
Was looked on as something shocking,
But now, God knows,
Anything Goes.
Good authors too who once knew better words,
Now only use four letter words
Writing prose, Anything Goes.
The world has gone mad today
And good’s bad today,
And black’s white today,
And day’s night today,
When most guys today
That women prize today
Are just silly gigolos
And though I’m not a great romancer
I know that I’m bound to answer
When you propose,
Anything goes
When grandmama whose age is eighty
In night clubs is getting matey with gigolo’s,
Anything Goes.
When mothers pack and leave poor father
Because they decide they’d rather be tennis pros,
Anything Goes.
If driving fast cars you like,
If low bars you like,
If old hymns you like,
If bare limbs you like,
If Mae West you like
Or me undressed you like,
Why, nobody will oppose!
When every night,
The set that’s smart
Is intruding in nudist parties in studios,
Anything Goes.
The world has gone mad today
And good’s bad today,
And black’s white today,
And day’s night today,
When most guys today
That women prize today
Are just silly gigolos
And though I’m not a great romancer
I know that I’m bound to answer
When you propose,
Anything goes
If saying your prayers you like,
If green pears you like
If old chairs you like,
If back stairs you like,
If love affairs you like
With young bears you like,
Why nobody will oppose!
And though I’m not a great romancer
And though I’m not a great romancer
I know that I’m bound to answer
When you propose,
Anything goes…
Anything goes!

I Don’t Want to Set the World on Fire by The Ink Spots
I don’t want to set the world on fire
I just want to start a flame in your heart
In my heart I have but one desire
And that one is you no other will do
I’ve lost all ambition for wordly acclaim
I just want to be the one you’d love
And with your admission that you’d feel the same
I’ll have reach the goal I’m dreaming of believe me
I don’t want to set the world on fire

Way Back Home by Bob Crosby
The roads are the dustiest, The winds are the gustiest
The gates are the rustiest, The pies are the crustiest
The songs the lustiest, The friends the trustiest
Way back home
(Back home)
The trees are the sappiest, The days are the nappiest
The dogs are the yappiest, The kids are the scrappiest
the jokes the snappiest, the folks the happiest
Way back home
Don’t know why I left the homestead
I really must confess
I’m a weary exile
Singing my song of lonliness
The grass is the springiest, The bees are the stingiest
The birds are the wingiest, The bells are the ringiest
(the hearts) the hearts the singiest
(the arms) the arms the clingiest
Way back home
(What about the sun) The sun’s the blaziest
(And the fields) The field’s the daziest
(And the cows) The cow’s the graziest
(And the help) The help’s the laziest
The boys, Are the wittiest
The girls, Are the prettiest
Way back home
The pigs are the snootiest, The owls are the hootiest
The plant’s the fruitiest, The stars the shootiest
The grins the funniest, The smiles the sunniest
Way back home
Don’t know why I left the homestead
I really must confess
I’m a weary exile
Singing my song of lonliness
The food is the spreadiest, The wine is the headiest
The pals are the readiest, The gals are the steadiest

Butcher Pete (Part 1) by Roy Brown
Hey everybody, did the news get around
About a guy named Butcher Pete
Oh, Pete just flew into this town
And he’s choppin’ up all the women’s meat
[Chorus]
He’s hackin’ and wackin’ and smackin’
He’s hackin’ and wackin’ and smackin’
He’s hackin’ and wackin’ and smackin’
He just hacks, wacks, choppin’ that meat
Butcher Pete’s got a long sharp knife
He starts choppin’ and don’t know when to stop
All you fellows gotta watch your wifes
‘Cause Pete don’t care who’s meat he chops
[Chorus]
Ever since Peter flew into town
He’s been havin’ a ball
Just cuttin’ and choppin’ for miles around
Single women, married women, old maids and all
[Chorus]
Wakes up in the morning, half past five
Chops from sunrise to sunset
I don’t see how he stays alive
Meat’s gonna be the death of ole Pete, yeah
[Chorus]
The police put Pete in jail
Yes, he finally met his faith
But when they came to pay his bail
They found him choppin’ up his cell mate
[Chorus]
That Butcher Pete is a crazy man
Tries to chop down the wind and the rain
Just hacks on anything he can get
Say, turn this record over, you ain’t heard nothing yet

A Wonderful Guy by Tex Beneke
I’m as corny as Kansas in August,
I’m as normal as blueberry pie.
No more a smart little girl with no heart,
I have found me a wonderful guy!
I am in a conventional dither,
With a conventional star in my eye.
And you will note there’s a lump in my throat
When I speak of that wonderful guy!
I’m as trite and as gay as a daisy in May,
A cliché comin’ true!
I’m bromidic and bright
As a moon-happy night
Pourin’ light on the dew!
I’m as corny as Kansas in August,
High as a flag on the Fourth of July!
If you’ll excuse an expression I use,
I’m in love, I’m in love,
I’m in love, I’m in love,
I’m in love with a wonderful guy!
No more a smart little girl with no heart,
I have found me a wonderful guy!
I’m as trite and as gay as a daisy in May,
A cliché comin’ true!
I’m bromidic and bright
As a moon-happy night
Pourin’ light on the dew!
I’m as corny as Kansas in August,
High as a flag on the Fourth of July!
If you’ll excuse an expression I use,
I’m in love, I’m in love,
I’m in love, I’m in love,
I’m in love with a wonderful guy!

Crazy He Calls Me by Billie Holiday
I say I’ll move the mountains
And I’ll move the mountains
If he wants them out of the way
Crazy, he calls me
Sure I’m crazy
Crazy in love, I’d say
I say I’ll go through fire
And I’ll go through fire
As he wants it, so it shall be
Crazy, he calls me
Sure I’m crazy
Crazy in love, you see
Like the wind that shakes the bough
He moves me with a smile
The difficult I’ll do right now
The impossible will take a little while
I say I’ll care forever
And I mean forever
If I have to hold up the sky
Crazy, he calls me
Sure I’m crazy
Crazy in love am I

Civilization by Danny Kaye with the Andrews Sisters
Each morning a missionary advertise with neon sign
He tells the native population that civilization is fine
And three educated savages holler from a bongo tree
That civilization is a thing for me to see
So bongo, bongo, bongo I don’t want to leave the congo
Oh no no no no no
Bingle, bangle, bungle I’m so happy in the jungle I refuse to go
Don’t want no bright lights, false teeth, doorbells, landlords
I make it clear
That no matter how they coax him
I’ll stay right here
I looked through a magazine the missionary’s wife concealed
(Magazine? What happens?)
I see how people who are civilized bang you with automobiles
(You know you can get hurt that way Daniel)
At the movies they have to pay many coconuts to see
(What do they see Danny?)
Uncivilized pictures that the newsreels take of me
So bongo, bongo, bong he don’t want to leave the congo
Oh no no no no no
Bingle, bangle, bungle he’s so happy in the jungle he refuse to go
Don’t want no penthouse, bathtub, streetcars, taxis
Noise in my ear
So no matter how they coax him
I’ll stay right here
They hurry like savages to get aboard an iron train
And though it’s smoky and crowded they’re too civilized to complain
When they’ve got two weeks vacation they hurry to vacation grounds
(What do they do Danny)
They swim and they fish but that’s what I do all year round
So bongo, bongo, bongo I don’t want to leave the congo
Oh no no no no no
Bingle, bangle, bungle I’m so happy in the jungle I refuse to go
Don’t want no jailhouse, shotguns, fish hooks, golf clubs
I’ve got my spear
So no matter how they coax him
I’ll stay right here
They have things like the atom bomb
So I think I’ll stay where I “om”
Civilization, I’ll stay right here

Easy Living by Billie Holiday
Living for you is easy living
It’s easy to live when you’re in love
And I’m so in love
There is nothing in life but you
I never regret the years that I’m giving
They’re easy to give when you’re in love
I’m happy to do whatever I do for you
For you maybe I’m a fool
But it’s fun
People say you rule me with one wave of your hand
Darling, it’s grand
They just don’t understand
Living for you is easy living
It’s easy to live when you’re in love
And I’m so in love
There’s nothing in life but you

Happy Times by Bob Crosby & The Bobcats
Wish on the moon
And look for the gold in a rainbow
And you’ll find a happy time
You’ll hear a tune
That lives in the heart of a bluebird
And you’ll find a happy time
Though things may look very dark
Your dream is not in vein
For when do you find the rainbow?
Only after rain
So wish on the moon
And someday it may be tomorrow
You will suddenly hear chimes
And you’ll have your happy, happy time
So wish on the moon
And someday it may be tomorrow
You will suddenly hear chimes
And you’ll have your happy, happy time.

Into Each Life Some Rain Must Fall by The Ink Spots
Into each life some rain must fall
But too much is falling in mine
Into each heart some tears must fall
But some day the sun will shine
Some folks can lose the blues in their hearts
But when I think of you another shower starts
Into each life some rain must fall
But too much is falling in mine
Into each life some rain must fall
But too much, too much is fallin’ in mine
Into each heart some tears must fall
But some day the sun will shine
Some folks can lose the blues in their heart
But when I think of you another shower starts
Into each life some rain must fall
But too much is fallin’ in mine
[spoken:]
Into each and every life some rain has got to fall
But too much of that stuff is fallin’ into mine
And into each heart some tears got to fall
And I know that someday that sun is bound to shine
Some folks can lose the blues in their heart
But when I think of you another shower starts
Into each life some rain must fall
But too much is fallin’ in mine

Maybe by The Ink Spots
Maybe you’ll think of me
When you are all alone
Maybe the one who is waiting for you
Will prove untrue, then what will you do?
Maybe you’ll sit and sigh, wishing that I were near
Then maybe you’ll ask me to come back again
And maybe I’ll say maybe.
Maybe you’ll think of me
When you are all alone
Maybe the one who is waiting for you
Will prove untrue, then what will I do?
Maybe, you’ll sit and sigh, wishing that I were near
Then maybe you’ll ask me to come back again
And maybe I’ll say maybe.

"Way Back Home" and "Civilization" are the two I always have in my head, "Way Back Home" I like the pace and lyrics, and "Civilization" to much fun

I never listened to the radio stations much. Most of them are just Morse code. If I listened to the others I couldn't hear things around me, and as a stealther that was important :)

I'm a bad gamer. I bought this the day it came out but have yet to play it. Been spending too much time with Little Big Planet, Rock Band 2, and WWE SVR 2009.

Welcome to my world, where I buy more games than I play (and it has gotten worse with achievements; don't want to even load a game in yet until I am ready.)
Fallout Music
I've always loved the songs on Fallout, but generally, like I said, my tastes are pretty wide; I like listening to old songs/music as well as new. Actually, I wished there were MORE songs in the game, because leaving the radio on for long periods; it gets repetitive.
Been trying to figure out the one word proclamation over on the Chinese Radio (a Hotel close to the Library to turn in Pre-War books for cash that has a dead chinese/lootable corpse in front).

I picked it up in the train yard and found the body too, but I haven't found the transmission place yet.
Also, can someone PM the torrent link to get them, or just a site with it, because I can't check torrents until this weekend/off campus

I just finished that game last night. I really enjoyed it. I did a Fist of The North Star Kenshiro like character and had fun kicking ass and exploring. I pretty much did everything good. Didn't loose Karma once. Took me about 35 hours with exploring stuff.
I found the "Fisto!"power fist weapon and I used that and kept fixing it up. When you have Bloody Mess on and your swinging that will full strength everything turns into mush.
The only time I really used any other weapons where when things had flamethrowers and it was a death trap going close range. After I got the Lawbringer perk I went to Paradise Falls and killed all of the slavers, took their fingers and rescued all of the slaves.I had about five jump on me when I got in, but I took out The Fat Man and blew them all away with one shot and still had them left over.
I didn't like how I FINALLY got the Paralyzing Palm move till I was towards the end of the game, but it's awesome hitting somebody in VATS and watching their bodies drop like a stone and you can curb stomp them or I just took out my flamer and lit them up.
I'm trying an evil woman character now. I took Black Widow to see all of the ways I can cheat people out of stuff for extra caps and I'm going to do more hacking and lock picking. I was still pissed that you seem to get more EXP for picking locks and hacking computers then you get by killing all of the monsters and gangs running around.
Even with my few nitpicks and the occasional glitch here and there, it was still an awesome game and well worth the 50 bucks.
Now I'm hearing there's good mods for the PC like an improved 3rd Person Camera and improved textures. I looked up Fallout 3 mods and found a good site with some mods, but nothing like that.

No....It isn't a matter of "oh its not working for me so I'll have to mess with it"
It's not letting me make a live account at all, it sends me to the microsoft site with NOTHING at al about making a windows live account, and when I get back into fallout 3 the whole thing is frozen, forcing me to redo EVERYTHING again, because making the account wasn't "finalized"

I use about 9 mods already: Slower leveling, Desert Dragon, improved Melee and Energy weapons, several costume ones and slower degradation

I'm looking for some screen shots from the PC game. I want some screen shots of the back of a Nuka Cola Machine. The best shot I have seen is in the Dunwich Building. Just after you walk in there are two one facing, one face down in the room to the left of the enterance. Anyone with the PC game want to give me a hand?
