Holy crap. Does that mean my Green Lantern character may finally come to life?

I would at least give it a try for a month. The chance to make my Batman sidekick is to great to ignore.

Just might have to leave CoH behind if this comes out for the PC...

Meh.. I don't care for SoE.... but It's been so long since I've seen a good Consle RPG... And one for PSP.
If I'm not obsessing over the Next Phantasy Star Online, I might pick it up.

It's being created by SOE. Stay away now. You've been warned. :D

It's going to go the same way as the Marvel MMORPG. Meaning down into obscurity and the realm of forgotten games.
If Marvel or DC steals CoH's old original concept, I'm gone. Hands down. And I hope that they do, too.

It's going to go the same way as the Marvel MMORPG. Meaning down into obscurity and the realm of forgotten games.I'm less likely to believe that this game will just fade away. Following SOE's busness practice, it'll launch too early and be buggy as hell. Then it may or may not require an entire rewrite.

I think I'll have to agree with you on this one Yin. The original concept of CoH kicked so much ass that I'd drop the bastardized version in a heartbeat to play it. Even though the bastardized version is fun to play.

I gotta agree with Yin and AM as well. 'You mean I'll get the original version of CoH AND get to be a Green Lantern? Or join the Avengers? Hey, peace out CoH.' :p

SOE = bad.
DC online MMO = good.
what to do????
And yes, if it's skill point based instead of archetype based, I'm SOOOOO there. :D

I'm probably asking a dumb question, but what's so evil about SoE? Are they really that bad?

No, they're not. They're much worse.

Okay, so.
An MMORPG, which requires a consistent, stable connection, on a portable console that can only connect to the internet at specific hotpoints.
That pretty much renders the PSP stationary while you're playing the game. Which defeats the purpose of having a portable console.
This kind of concept needs to wait until we have much broader areas covered by wireless internet.
Also, SoE sucks.
