Well, not our Darkness, but The Darkness. I read about this in my most recent Xbox Official Magazine. It says a game titled The Darkness will be coming out for the Xbox 360. While I couldn't find anything on the game, I found a comic cover here (http://www.topcow.com/store/product.php?productid=439). Thats right, it's a comic for those of you who don't know, and by Top Cow, so enjoy.

Edit: Oh, and to make sure you don't worry, its being developed by the guys from the awsome Chronicle of Riddick game.

Hopefully it's good. I read a couple of the first Darkness TPBs, interesting concept, but I have to admit it wasn't one of Garth Ennis' finest work.

I read the details, its intersting-ish, but not my type of thing. While I do not know of his work, I have to say that it sounds like a CoH type of description almost, but those guys working on the game should do a good job.

If you're talking about the comics, it's definently not like CoH at all. It's dark, it's bloody and there are about two actual good superbeings. Jackie, the main character, has had a chasity vow forced onto him (he's pretty much described as a sex addict), because if he impregnates a woman, he'll die instantly. His powers appeared when he was 21, he's a member of the mafioso, his powers only work in the dark and they usually consists of him ripping people into shreds and other bloody ways.

The Darkness was Ennis? I read that before I even knew who he was. Interesting concept, but "bubblegum-style" drawing and less than stellar writing made me loose interest after a while.

The Darkness is the counter-weapon to The Witchblade btw. Lots of cross-overs between the two.

Same here, I didn't know it was Ennis either. Plus I also agree with the "less than stellar writing made me lose interest."

It's definently not as good as some of his other work.
