Oh god.
Poor, poor Simone.
Seconded. Have you guys seen the cover? It's like one of those "Find all the mistakes" things in those magazines that you see in all the doctor offices.

What did the Titans do to deserve this?!

HA HA HA HA HA!
Excuse me as I try to crawl to the computer after laughing so hard!
The picture sketches start out blurry/sketchy. Then don't really improve too much (they focus a bit) then BOOM!!
...Instant crystal clear crapola!!
And his comments...Rob Liefeld STILL hasn't changed. "Gee, I imagine it must be a "kick" to be named "Boy Wonder"..."
My god! Does this man even know any of the characters in the current Titans!!
(Well, actually, it seems I don't either, since it was a surprise that there was mention of the Hawk and Dove in the Titans. When/Where did they pop up or is Rob hallucinating from taking too many drugs? But heck, I know Tim Drake likes to be in control and thought of as responsible!)

(I don't read Titans currently. Thought of it. May leaf through a few issues sometimes. But...sheesh! Some people NEED to fall off the face of the earth!)

The new Hawk and Dove PREMEIRED in the Titans a few months ago, during a fight with Dr. Light. They're a pair of sisters whose names I can't recall at the moment, although I'm pretty sure one was named Dawn.
*looks at pictures. Tears hair out. Screams and runs off* Noooooo!!!!!

Are you now stealing my links, Melty? :D
Anyway, my favorite line is "And then I added a moon for 'atmosphere'."

He forgot a few steps. I've taken the liberty of writing them in for him.
"In this first step, I made sure to ignore pesky things like perspective and foreshortening-- remember, kids, no one cares if your drawings look even remotely realistic when you're Liefeld! Somehow you'll get work anyway."
"Now, I'm developing the musculature. Again, this doesn't have to be even vaguely human. Have some fun! Add in muscles where no muscles exist! For example, I've added about 12 extra abdominal muscles and 40 new leg muscles. See how cool that looks? Like he could twist open a beer with his upper thigh!"
"Next, I give him a facial expression that looks as constipated as possible, and pretend it's a grin. Here's a rule to follow: if your character doesn't look like he's reaching desperately for a BM, he's not enough of a badass!"
"Finally, I added a moon. Okay, it's actually just a circle, but when it's coloured the glow from the moon will obscure some of the less realistic aspects of my initial drawing. Inkers and colorists always try their hardest to make me look passable!"

Wait. Wait. Wait.... Wait...
Since when did Geoff Johns leave the Titans?!

Anybody else notice that Robin's staff comes out at the wrong point behind his back?

I really love the Teen Titans cartoon and was trying to combine some of the fun aspects of the Robin that is featured on the cartoon with the Robin in the comic book
So we can except Starfire to go from an alien warrior-princess to a retarded, big-eyed 'What is this 'paper' you humans speak of?' kind of character.
Cyborg? Why, he'll go from being an experienced hero and Titans leader to a character who's power supply runs out every other episode and says "BOOYA!" all the damn time.
Beast Boy? Why, he'll suddenly become retarded.
Goddamn you, Liefield.
It would be worse if he was actually writing it, I guess... But.. dammit.

Don't worry Doctor, it's a 2 issue fill-in. With Geoff pretty much running the entire DCU leading up to the new Crises (see here for details (http://www.newsarama.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=35963)), he had to cut down on some work for a few months. JSA is getting a guest writer for a few months, and he's done with Flash to lighten his workload.
