So, apparently the new Star Wars MMO is a new KOTOR game, and is being developed by good ol' BioWare.

Ya, i have high initial hopes for this game. I dont think Bioware can do anything wrong, with the first 2 KotOR games being 2 of my favorite games of all time, im sure this will end up great.

Well, I'm not a huge Star Wars fan, so I'll probably pass. I really only played SWG because a friend of Murphy and I talked about how great it was every day and our little gang in our office all ended up getting it.

Good to hear, but I have been hearing some rumors that Lucasfilms ruined Sony's Star Wars MMO. Not sure if this makes Sony innocent, but I can see the "House of Lucas" putting "their hands into a pot with too many cooks".

On the other hand, Bioware may have clout and Lucasfilms may take a "hands off" approach to this, leaving Bioware to do almost free-reign with this. (I am also waiting for EA to "drop the other shoe" and show it's "bastard-game-ruiniation" side...if it ever does).

I am happier about this, but still am cautious. :)
