So, this guy apparently is threatening to kill and eat his bunny rabbit unless people donate US $50,000. People have already donated $24,000 to this. Amazing.

*boggle*
I betcha that as a kid, he'd throw a tantrum and hold his breath and his parents would give him whatever he wanted. Bah. Let's put him up for execution and see how much (or little) money we can raise to save his sorry butt.

well...I hate to say this, but IMO...I wanna say: Buon Appetit!
I am studying nutrition, and I know: no matter how cute they look, you will eat them anyway when you are hungry, and noone spends money for these poor calves wich land on our plates every day....:naughty:

As do I, though I must say that a rabbit is fine eating when done in a stew...

Not enought there for a sandwich, let alone a meal. Pass the ketchup.

True, you need two or three for a proper stew. The ones that they farm for food are substantially bigger then Toby though.

It's not the eating of the rabbit that's disturbing, it's holding the rabbit for ransome that is in poor taste. (even if it's not for real)
I've had rabbit stew. Though I wouldn't cook up my own pet for a meal, if you want to eat your little sister's pet hamster... that's up to you. O_o

I hold Tarkenchi for ransom and will eat him until someone burns their CoH folder to a DVD and mails it to me...
If I do not recieve this DVD in 96 hours the 12 year old tyke shall be drowned in barbecue sauce then baked for approximately 7 hours in a convential oven until browned. :P

Rabbit stew is good; but braised rabbit in a Dijon-mustard sauce is divine.
<goes silent for a few moments, remembering a sublime meal at Bin 36 in Chicago...>
Huh? Wha--? Well can you blame me? Their chef is gifted, and the whole restaurant is built around pairing wines with food. You can taste before you order, their sommelier is uber-educated, and... just... wow.
The sucky part is having a dinner companion who makes a cute little bunny puppet out of his napkin and has it hop about on the table while you're enjoying the divine braised concoction. Hmph.
In any case, back to the topic at hand: P.T. Barnum was right--there really is one born every minute. "See the Amazing Egress!"

Which part made you drool? It was the bunny puppet, wasn't it? ;)
In any case, just to make it worse: here's the site to that magical land known as Bin 36 (http://www.bin36.com/)

This sounds like dinner with Charlie Chaplin. Did he do the trick with the dancing rolls?

Uh, no. The little bunny puppet was more than enough. But it was a fun date. This same companion has done the dancing rolls thing on other occasions. :)
And Tark, you're evil for showing me those pictures. Although quite frankly, I'd rather eat something cute than something ugly.

For the same reason that crickets and ladybugs are supposedly more pleasant to eat than cockroaches? :chuckle:

Personally, anything that has been theorized to be able to survive a nuclear holocaust is something that I think will do the number on my digestive tract.
And those bunnies would make awesome steamed buns.
