does anyone here have a Mac Air book? I'm having trouble trying to sink up my Mac Air book to my Windows based computer via wireless internet. I could use some advice.
Basically when I use the Mac OS install disk and go through the steps for file/CD sharing, it doesn't list the wireless network that I am using. This confuses me as the Mac Air book is currently using my wireless network to access the internet...

I'll ask around, but you mean Macbook Air, right?

Sorry, I wasn't able to find anything helpful.
Out of curiosity, why did you buy one? :p

It's not mine. I'm trying to help my mom set up hers... she wants to share files with her windows based computer wirelessly...

p.s. if i were to get a laptop, it would be either a dell XPS or Alienware...

I've got a Macbook Pro that I love, but I think the the Air is ridiculously expensive relative to its lacking functions and sup-par specs. It does look pretty cool though. :p
If you figure out how to sync, tell me, cause I'd like certain files on my laptop to sync with ones on my desktop PC.

That's file sharing, which might suffice until you figure out how to continuously sync.
EDIT:
I found this program that says it does what you want. It's opensource and untested by me...so use it at your own risk.
