I saw that twice. It's mesmorizing. The guy did a good job. He got me to play FFX-2 on plus mode.

That is pretty friggin sweet. I wish the combat was like that in any game!

The part with them sliding down the tower was great, and that gun-sword the winged girl has is one of the coolest friggin weapons I've seen.:D

This was done by the same guy who did the Master Cheif vs Samus Aran vid last year, too. Worth catching that.

This isn't only impossible because of tech. I mean, this kinda stuff exists in cinematics already. The issue is just that this is a purley a movie - camera is manipulated for effect and not for gameplay. Games like Devil May Cry, God of War, Ninja Gaidan, and Ninety-nine (One of Redhead) have come close to replicating this look but there's only so much that can be done while leaving the majority of control to the player because, you know, that's kinda important for the game too.

Come on, in FFX she was my most powerful character - Holy with Double Cast and her Nirvana Staff = Godhood.

In FFX-2 it's possibly debatable.

Awesome. I thought the one he did for Halo was gorgeously done in cinematography and such. While I thought he overused the Matrix music a bit much, it worked for the overall movie. The little suprise ending I thought was a bit immature and trendy (don't want to ruin it for those who don't know it). But he's doen a very good animation job with it. In these Dead Fantasy ones thought he has really improved so much, it's a delight to watch. :)

[edit for clarity : the criticisms were for his Haloid work - not for these -- I was merely using his prior famous work as a good example of how his style has gone from eye-popping to jaw dropping. ;) ]
