Okay, I've been nice and tactful and whatnot. You all know I go for harmony and peace as much as possible. However this situation has made me so frustrated for so long that I'm compelled to say something. Evil Alumette has escaped.

I don't know the whole situation, nor do I want to. It is/was none of my business and frankly it something in the past. Quibbling with me over whether or not anyone is/was justified in their behavior is useless because: (a) it's in the past, and (b) it counts as dirty laundry and per our new guidelines can't be publicly aired. So save it.

Those of us untouched by/indifferent to the situation are tired of being dragged into it by those of you who choose to stay there. You want to hold a grudge that's your business, but don't ask the rest of us to hold it with you. Personally I think it's ridiculous to hold a grudge. It's a waste of energy that could be better spent making positive changes in the community. To be quite honest it disappoints and disgusts me to my core to see people claim to take the moral high ground and then support that claim by being childish and disrespectful. In doing so you speak volumes about yourself and say very little about the person on whom you're trying to make commentary.

The bottom line is, this whole situation is a dead horse that should have ceased receiving a beating months ago. Quit dragging it up again. The situation is what it is and cannot be changed. Cope. You want to deal with it by voting with your feet, that is certinly your right. I for one will not beg such individuals to stay.

This post is not meant to be an attack on anyone. It's basically me letting you know how angry frustrated this whole thing has made me for months, and begging for an end to be put to it once and for all. I can't begin to describe how disappointed I am, and I guess I finally got to the point where I could no longer quietly ignore it.
