In order to combine our collective guru knowledge, post your favorite macros and binds here, I'll compile a list of them at the end of next week and create a page for the cohguru web content side. You will all be fully credited.

/bind l "show chat$$beginchat /l <color white><bgcolor #00000077><border #00000077>"

when I type l it opens the chat with the /l command, set to my color, ready to type.

/bind \ "show chat$$beginchat /send cohguru.com "

when I type \ it opens the chat, ready to type to cohguru.com ;)

/bind i "say <bgcolor red><color white><scale 1.5>Incoming $target!!"

when I type i, it says in big white letters with a red background Incoming <whatever I'm looking at>, in whatever channel I'm defaulted to(usually team)

/bind s "say <bgcolor yellow><color white><scale 1.5>$target spotted!"
Same as above, but just denotes what your targetting as opposed to incoming.

/bind 7 "team <color white><bgcolor #00000077><border #00000077><scale 1.5>$target, ripping you through time and space to my location!$$powerexec_slot7"

I always put recall friend in slot 7, and like folks to be informed when I'm going to recall them. This just brings up the targeting reticle, you have to click, and can still interrupt yourself, this gives them time to go, OMG WATE!

that's the ones I like best.

/bind \ "show chat$$beginchat /send cohguru.com "
I LOVE that one... except it was right near my auto run key so when I tried to say something in Guru chat, I'd run off. :P

The Lclick + shift bind for teleport has been a lifesaver for sometime now...just can't remember what the actual blasted bind is :P.

Ah, my movement binds are a bit odd...

I use the numpad for movement powers, and have a trackball I use with my left hand for mouselook. So for TP I use numpad1 to activate and then move the reticle and click with my trackball. I also bound numpad5 to follow, decimal toggles sprint, and then the rest of the numpad does strafing, turning, moving forward, back, up down.

it works for me, not sure I could use a mouse with the game as that's how I always do stuff, numpad just works much better for movement for me.

In battle I use my right hand for most movement, and my left hand activates my powers, don't have to switch to the trackball too much in battle.

The Lclick + shift bind for teleport has been a lifesaver for sometime now...just can't remember what the actual blasted bind is :P.

This one binds left shift and left mouse button to teleport, and it is a lifesaver :)

/bind lshift+lbutton "powexec_name Teleport"

(edit) I found it by searching the COH forums for a FAQ on teleport, so no need to credit me. Some other neat stuff if you go over there and dig around.

I also use "/bind f, say Anchoring $target" for my rad and dark defender's anchor powers. It helps the group figure out who not to arrest first, in theory. ;)
