I have it, and I'm tired of being tired. Been this way I think since the beginning of Jan. And its gotten worse over the last week. My thoughts and dreams have been plagued with.... activity. Best guess is my subconscious has ceized hold of something and won't let it go. I just don't know what to do about all this.

Suggestions:

Warm Milk before bedtime.

Excercise, preferably a few hours before bedtime. Enough to make you sweat or give you agood "burn".

Generally physically work hard during the day.

If you are not sleepy, force yourself to stay awake all night into the morning. Then, stay awake all day. This *should* make you tired as bedtime rolls by. This also tends to reset your inner clock to sleep at the right time.

If you have access to it, lots of sex can tire one out...

You wanna see pain? Swing by First Methodist Tuesday nights. See the guys with testicular cancer. That's pain.

First thing to do is:

Don't play computer games for at least an hour before you normally go to bed.

That tends to overstimulate the mind. I can be dead tired while playing a game, then stop and go to bed, and end up staying awake for another hour...

What is it you're thinking about when you're trying to go to sleep?

The good news is I'm now sleeping at night.
Guess in the end, I need to work out some stuff.
Just wanted to give fokes an update.

Cool, cool...

...but if it ever flares up again, I find drinking is a great way to dull the mind and ease into sleepy-time during those troubled bouts of insomnia.
