I have no idea what could be wrong, but it's been going on for a week or two now. Basically, whenever I'm playing games, my computer will randomly speed up and slow down. It's for absolutely no reason as well. What makes it more perplexing is the fact that looking at my computers performance, it shows no drop. It's working as hard as it was when the game I was playing was going at 60 FPS as opposed to 4. In fact, while it's not always the case, it looks like the computer is working LESS when it's lagging out on me. Has anyone heard of anything like this? It's not a virus, it's not my RAM, I doubt it's my CPU Because it's only games that are slowing down, nothing else. I'd like to hope isn't not my GFX Card (Seeing that as far as I know I have no way to check from a software standpoint and I don't have another card to switch it out with.)
EDIT: Nevermind, I figured it out, the GFX Card fan is busted, I'm just going to have to replace it.
