Ok, I have a little dorky project I am working on, and I need help with a small part of it. You know how sometimes in games and on the back of collectible cards, they have a bar graph that shows what a superhero's power level is in various categories?
Well, does anyone know of a way to generate those, or have a link to a site that shows how to make a balanced one?

I can Photoshop up something along those lines. I don't know of a program that does those sorts of things though.

Seems like it would be pretty damn easy in Excel. If I'm remembering it right.

Like this:

Those are from the Unofficial Handbook of the Virtue universe.
You don't even need to create a page to generate this, just start like you're making one and view the preview... screen capture and viola! Enter the text below for the blue hero box (substituting numbers you desire) or change the first line to VillainAttributes for the red villain box.
{{HeroAttributes
| Fortitude= 5
| Stamina= 7
| Speed= 5
| Melee= 4
| Blasts= 8
| Support= 8
| Control= 8
}}
You can also change the categories and add new ones... but you are limited to a 1 to 10 scale.

That works. I'll have to work with that. :)
I tried using Excel, but it was frustrating me. I mean, In know how to do it, but I kept screwing up, and the customization on the graphs is kind of limited.
Anyways, thanks Nerfed!
Edit: And I was thinking of using the classic Marvel powers: Fighting, Agility, Strength, Endurance, Reason, Intuition and Psyche. Which, ironically has 10 basic power levels.

You know, I couldn't get this to work right. It wouldn't reflect the power levels, and had them all ranked at 0.

Hmmm... maybe because the template requires the established names of the attributes to be in place. Well, you could use them as presented to generate the bars, then photoshop the text to reflect the attributes you want.

Yeah, but if I'm gonna use PS, I may as well start from scratch and make it look original. :)

The photoshopping wouldn't require much edit, though... just cover up the text there and apply new text. Starting from scratch in photoshop may give you an original look, but there's measuring and stuff and whatever.
You're prolly better off that way, now that I think of it.
