Data Collection!

Does anyone know of a method of data collection for City Of Heroes?
I am making an sg site and would like a way to get a badge list for each character. I want it to be able to pull the data from the server itself rather than a person sitting for hours updating a list manually. I know data collection is possible, i have seen other programs doing it. Just not sure how this game handles it.

Wow this fourm is nigh on dead these days.

There are a few sites that collect data, mostly they use the chat log to scan for stuff that happens and you run a macro/bind that cycles through all of your badges and whatnot to see what is on each character, then that data is sent to their website via their interface program.

The site allows you to update stuff manually too.

Also in the near future we'll have some sort of web interface that will show all sorts of stuff about our characters if we want it to be shown via the official website, it is under options in the options menu to toggle this on and off.

City of Game tracker i think is the first part i was talking about. Google should find it for you.
