my account expires on 6/10/05. it is on auto renew for one year. i deavtivate a day before and reactivate(6 month plan) a few minutes later. i get an email saying next bill date 6/10/05. but it should be 6 months from now 12/10/05.
i really hope i dont have to pay twice?
i should still get in the first wave cov beta right?
i contacted support i hope their not screwing around with my account.

No, they're right.
They didn't immediately bill you for the 6 months because they can't. You still have time left on your account so they can't charge you until the expiration date (June 10th). Now, if you had cancelled your account and let June 10th come and go and then re-upped, your billing date would be in December because they WOULD charge you immediately.
Check with your credit card company. I can almost guarantee that no charge has been put through yet (but will be tomorrow). It's the same basic rule that governs online purchases where the seller cannot charge your card until the order ships. By the same token, NCSoft can't charge you for a service that has yet to be rendered. That's why they tell you that your account won't expire until all the time you've already paid for has elapsed.
I ran into this issue when I tried to get them to charge me for a year for each of my 2 accounts so I could synchronize the billing on them. I was told that they could not do that because I had already paid for time with both accounts. Thus, the only way for me to synchronize billing would be to deactivate one account, wait for it to expire, then renew it on the same day I'm billed for the other account.
