For some reason when I try to open up certain pages of the forum, internet explorer shuts itself down. Anyone have a clue as to why it does that? Specifically, I know the third page of the Smoking in Movies thread is unavailable to me.

No problems with it here but I'm using firefox.

What version of IE are you running?

If you aren't running version 7, then I would upgrade to it immediately. I had somewhat of the same problem with IE 6.5. I had Norton AV installed, that along with IE's natural popup blocker would halt my browser at certain pages. I eventually upgraded to version 7 and disabled Norton from monitoring IE at all and my problem was fixed.

Also, have you run a Anti-Virus or Spyware check recently? If not, do that as well.
